Dr. Gambitta by far had a tremendous impact on the classroom dynamics and the lives of students outside of the instruction. He taught me the fundamentals of constitutional law that assisted me beyond my years at UTSA, and throughout my time in law school. His instruction, mentor-ship, and advice have proved to be invaluable

I was fortunate enough to have Dr. G as my con law professor. He was able to create a stimulating class discussion that made typically dry constitutional law issues interesting. Words cannot describe the profound impact he has had in my academic career as well as my professional career. The opportunity to have him as a professor should be taken.

Dr. G is by far the best professor I had at UTSA! I've taken many of his courses since his teaching style allows you to transform difficult concepts into digestible ideas. He takes his office hours seriously and is always willing to meet. Dr. G's mentorship is invaluable. His letters of rec have landed me jobs and admission into law/grad school.

I really enjoyed having his class for constitutional law. His teaching is often confusing and incoherent, but still interesting. Don't buy the textbook because everything in "Constitutional Interpretation" can be found online. He wasn't very clear on procedures for grading and the tests were really difficult. The class overall is just a lot of info

I can't say enough about Professor Gambitta! He is an amazing professor and although his courses are demanding, they are always interesting and a lot of fun. I never really used my book since we had open access to Oyez and Find law. He is the kind of professor that just makes you want to go to class.

Dr. G is wonderful! He is intelligent and know what he deals with. The case load is fine, and no need to read the entire case as the OYEZ briefs and oxford reference are great! he spends a lot of time going over opinions. Midterm and Final only! keep up w/reading and definitely go to class, its lots of fun!

Best professor I've ever had at UTSA. Obviously liberal but does a great job of presenting both sides. DO THE READING and REVIEWS, and come to class. Easy A. No need to buy the book since everything is case law and available from Oyez, etc and his own presentations that are posted.

He always gives reviews that are essentially everything on the exam and if you study they are relatively easy. He does have a slight "stutter" but the information in this class is really interesting and he shows alot of vidoes. i Highly recommend

Post 23 years a paralegal w/degree I found the profession demoralizing and resigned. Not the US Constitution, not the American Jurisprudence, rather the pejorative attitudes and back breaking work year round. No matter how exceptional and savvy one is, it does not matter. My personal experience in this course was also huge DITTO. Charming though.

uses socratic method (at least for the summer program) but doesn't really hound students who don't have answers. does a good job keeping discussion flowing. interesting guy, fun to talk to. if you're seeking a LOR from him, make sure you keep in constant communication about it.
