Doesn't post lectures online, if you want to pass you MUST go to classes. Frequent assignments keep you on top of material, not too difficult. Take his advice, don't try to go for the 100% final marking scheme, do the work throughout term and this class is a breeze. Textbook can be really helpful for practice problems.

Dr. Nowakowski is amazing. His assignments are frequent but pretty easy for the most part. His tests are more difficult, but they still have simpler aspects to them. He's really clear in his teaching, extremely approachable, and just awesome. Take his class.

Nowakowski is the best!! He makes class really interesting and tells you how to solve different types of problems on exams. He focuses more on examples than on theory and this is really helpful. Sometimes he can go on about some crazy math stuff, just close your eyes/ears and listen to the important stuff.

Great Man. Teaches the material well. Gives interesting bonus questions to let you think outside the box. Very nice, approachible. Highly energetic, loves math- and it shows. If you're going into first year calc, you're a fool NOT to get Nowakowski before his class is full- especailly if you like to think, but also if you like good teachers.

Nowakowski is friendly and offers extra value assignments. However; I found him hard to understand. He talks quickly and doesn't spend much time going over new concepts. He often gets off topic, teaching about concepts not relative to the course. After a few lectures, I swithced to Dilcher's class. I find him a lot easier to understand.
