This class was mandatory and I frankly had no choice but to take it but I felt and still feel lucky to have Bob for this course. He is very passionate about teaching and really loves his students. His lectures might be a little bit non-relevant but he's always there for students. And he likes to bring snacks for us!

He is kind of kooky but overall an awesome professor! I always wanted to go to class because it was extremely laid back. Bob is super passionate about getting his students to think, which by his philosophy will lead to a better writer.

I couldn't have asked for a better intro. to law school/legal writing course. Bob truly wanted to help prepare students for law school and general life as a lawyer, and he certainly succeeded. He wasn't caught up with grades, but preferred meeting with students one-on-one throughout the quarter to help with assignments.

If you are even considering law school, take this course. It's roughly half learning about law school writing, and half preparation for law school itself. Anyone who takes this course will begin law school with a huge advantage over their classmates. And as far as Bob himself well, people, and instructors, just don't get any better than him.

I feel that Bob is a professor that students get to experience once in a blue moon. He genuinely cares about students and that they learn the material teaching. It's not everyday that although the material may be challenging, you still want to show up to class everyday, on time, ready to learn, and Bob makes you want to do that. awesome!

He's one of the coolest teacher I ever had. He's fun. He keeps his class short which is awesome! He's more liek that kind of teacher who makes you think than just remember what he says. I really enjoyed the class. Also, take his class if you want an easy A.

I think Bob is a professor who can make writing appeal to just about any student, because in his class, its more of a "thinking" class than it is a "proper"/**** essay-writing class. He can relate to the students, and also cares about them. I think he teaches the kind of class students WANT to do well in.
