Good teacher, cares about his students. Sadly he is hard of hearing, so if you have questions for him make sure you speak up! He often goes off on tangents during his lectures and has an odd yet funny sense of humor.

Good teacher, he truly cares about his students. He even gives out his home phone number, and encourages you to call him, or email him, if you have any questions. He doesn't use the book (as of my class). Sadly, he is very hard of hearing, and can go off on tangents. Listen carefully, and speak loud and clearly if you have him.

Awesome teacher! All you have to do is listen to him. He makes himself available to students by giving out his home phone number, he wants EVERYONE to succeed. It's up to the students to take advantage of it.

Mr. Hagen is amazing! He makes the work not seem like work at all. Gives plenty of examples and breaks down the chapters for you. The book isn't mandatory but it does help you if something doesn't make sense. He's easy to get a hold of and super easy to ask questions. He's a real teacher who cares about you!

Mr. Hagen was a great teacher! He made a subject I have loathed forever, into something I finally understood. He has a passion for math that is contagious. He is the most helpful teacher I have ever had.I forgot my review sheet at school for the final and wrote him an e-mail, he promptly called me and went over the problems over the phone.

Great teacher if you pay attention. I am very bad at math, yet left his class with an A. Sit up front, do the homework, even if its not required. Do the problems in the book. Very nice guy aswell

very hard to follow, I might as well have taken the class in a foreign country in a language I didn't understand. I was failing until I switched teachers, then I managed to get an -A, no thx to Mr. Hagen.

He was easy. Just listen in class and do the required worksheets. He gives lots of examples and even gives the notest, all you have to do is fill them in. Optional problems arent hard and you don't get a grade, but really help if you don't understand. He is amazing if you need help just go see him or call him.

Very boring. Never uses book, but says it is your life to passing the class. Doesn't teach or explain things well. If a question is asked, don't expect an answer because he won't understand what your asking. He talks about brick walls and tripods every day. If you can switch, I would.

A rude and terrible teacher. He never answered my questions and bruched me off. He told me he was "generous" but he was just rude to me. He didn't teach in a way that many people understood. One lady in my class even raised her hand and told him he was teaching bad. I very much agreed with her. I do not like him or his attitude. A bad professor.
