Comment:
Dr. Lehe is incredibly boring when he lectures. He doesn't engage with the students and he doesn't do anything to make the class interesting so it's very easy to zone out and miss a lot of information. I was struggling so I went to his office hours and he didn't help at all and just made me feel bad for not understanding basic concepts, saveyourself

Not good. Possibly the most boring thing I've ever done in my life, and I thought it would be fun. It's almost impossible to get an A, no matter how hard you work. He's very hard to understand, as is Philosphy, because nothing you say is right or wrong, but you're graded as getting it wrong.

Dr. Lehe is a brilliant person, and he cares about his students' success if they do as well. His lectures are very effective and he encourages a lot of class discussion. He sometimes gives you note sheets to navigate the harder content, which helped me a lot when I was struggling. Just be prepared to have your butt kicked, and he'll help you get up

He doesn't really seem to care. Gave me the same flat percentage grade (90%) for everything I did no matter the quality or amount of effort. He is extremely biased as he will make you read books he has written and show you 'evidence' that has been disproved years back. Try to avoid this professor if you want true philosophical thought.

At times in lecture, he could get a little confusing. I think it just depends on how well you are at paying attention and reading. ALWAYS READ or atleast just know what you'll be talking about the next day because it'll help you understand what is going on. He always helped me during office hours to be more clear. He has so much character. Love him

Dr. Lehe is an extremely competent man. He's had many articles published in major philosophical journals, just check out his faculty page on the NCC website. Despite this, he's very humble and down to earth. He'll give you a good laugh once in awhile. Class is mainly based on discussing the readings you do for homework. Go and participate.

You get 4 grades. First test and paper are worth 20% and the next two are worth 25%. To get an easy 10% attend class and participate! For test... you better know the terms cause it is fill in. Other then that some topics were very interesting to be argued about and other or most were very boring.

Dr. Lehe is one of the smartest people I have ever met, and HE's HUMBLE. His lectures are interesting and his grading is clear cut and not difficult. He's specific on what he wants in papers, but its not impossible to get an A if you study a bit and think logically. Dr. Lehe legitimately cares about his students and their learning. Highly recommend

Lehe is extremely intelligent and knows exactly what he is talking about. The class is difficult because he makes you think in an abstract but logical way, which is what philosophy is all about.

It was clear that no one wanted to be there, and he didn't really care if you didn't show up. His feedback on the 3 papers you wrote the entire term were good, but kinda redundant.

Took Both Ethics and intro to Philosophy with him. Had no interest in the subject, but the man is brilliant when it comes to philosophy. Very good at making you think clearly before you make a point and making sure you know how to back up what you are arguing. His calss requires a decent bit of work, but well worth every minute

Hard man to describe. He says things that scar you for life, but at the same time he's clearly brilliant. The nature of the subject makes it difficult to like him, but if nothing else, this man KNOWS his subject inside and out.

Professor Lehe is an amazing professor! If you take his course you will not be disappointed. Many might say his expectations are high, but honestly, he is trying to make the course suitable for learning. If you want an easy class, you shouldn?t be in college in the first place. Professor Lehe is passionate about the material, and makes his studen

Took a d-term class for 3 hours a day, 5 days a week for 3 weeks. Hardest part was staying awake. He's a good guy, but a hard, PICKY teacher. Gives decent feedback on papers but class time seems to be flooded with pointless opinions from other students. It was obvious people didn't want to be in class and were stressed about the final at the end.
