Very....interesting. Read the book, it's a must here. Heard of friends who had him and he missed class because he was sleeping in his office. If you can, take a lab with someone else, because he's absolutely useless there.

One of the most interesting people you'll ever meet. Does tend to go off subject but ask for clarity and he'll give it to you. Has a crude sense of humor that makes a boring class interesting as well. Read the book! He will forget things in lecture that might be on a test and if you read you'll be alright.

Needs to stop teaching. He does not teach from the book (which is what your tests are based off of) and just goes off on tangents. B/c of this, he is very hard to understand. When it comes to test time you don't know what your tests are going to be like. Doesn't use technology and writes sloppy notes on the board when he feels like it.

I had him for Bio 101 at COD. Tests were horrible--weird formats, material not covered in class, and never enough time to finish the essays. Graded on a curve though, so just hope that everyone else does badly too. He would just leave us during labs to go read the newspaper, with no instruction at all, and usually forgot to get out the materials!

Don't take this professor! He puts nothing into this class. Zero help in labs, and exams include material never discussed. Seems to find enjoyment at the failure of students. He could make this course great but his disorginization and apathy creates a terrible environment for learning.

I don't know if this professor is better in the higher level courses, but he was awful in 100. He never returned any work and was extremely slow with tests. The tests were basically a guessing game. He was not helpful at all. I sent him two emails and he didn't respond to either. This professor was easily the worst I've had at NCC.

I took this teacher at COD over the summer. If you show up to class and take good notes, you should do okay. His tests are a little tough, but if you miss too many classes, you will fall behind and not do well.

Basically if you can memorize stuff well, you will do well. He is a slob and not helpful at all. One time we were dissecting a rat and he dug in the rat to show us something, wiped his hands with a napkin and then went on eating his sandwich. Sick!

The class was fun, but the tests were brutal. However, he grades tests on a curve. The final project was difficult, because we didn't know what he wanted until the week before it was due. But, he's very helpful if you ask for help.
