Dr. Rouse was a perfect Professor for introductory students deciding if accounting was for them. 1)He kept it fun & entertaining- which is not always easy to do, 2) he was fair ? a fair professor is harder to find then one who makes learning accounting fun , 3) He was knowledgeable of the subject matter and most of the time you didn?t realize you w

Comment:

Rouse is a great professor. He gives 10 matching quizes and drops the lowest one. He gives 3 tests and they get more difficult as the semester goes on. He even curves the test grades. He does not have an attendance policy. I missed about 5 classes and still got A. My advice is to take him but keep up with the work.

He is highly annoying. He rushes you during quizzes to the point you cannot concentrate. I asked him nicely to please stop talking during quizzes and he said no and that his way of pressuring people has worked thus far. Insisted that it was my problem that I cannot work under pressure.

This class was frustrating. He is not very helpful because as long as some poeple are doing well, he doesn't really seem to care about the others. He gets off topic a lot. Personally, I wasn't a fan, and I worked very hard for my B where as I typically don't have to study at all.

easy class if you keep up with the material. It is very possible to get an A, if you study alot. He is annoying in class, but if you can tolerate him, it will be worth it. He loves to talk football so that might help you get on his good side.

I love Rouser and thought this was an easy class. Vocab matching quizzes are an easy 100 if you memorize them. Tests are fair if you study.It is all MULTIPLE CHOICE, how much easier can that get. He randomly raises his voice but its funny. Take him, he's prob the best acct prof compared to what others have said about theirs.

Comment:

He is a bit intense but a good teacher. If you miss classes you will be in trouble but he is really good at drilling material into your head. You have to study a fair amount but if you dont study why are you in college. I put in a little work and got an A. I would absolutley recommend the ROUSER!

He rambles on in class, making it very difficult to pay attention and makes it very confusing. He loves to hear himself talk, especially about his personal life. 75% of the time he is talking about irrelevant topics. I do not enjoy his class. Only teacher I have disliked at the college.

His quizzes are easy, but the MC definitions are spaced so closely that I have a seizure trying to match all the definitions within the 2 minutes he gives to complete the quiz. Maybe it's because I have him once a week for 3 hours all at once, but I can't put up with the class. He does however seem like a very nice guy.

Very nice guy but a bad teacher. Attempts to teach accounting by sitting at his desk. Never wrote a single word or problem on the board. His favorite phrase - "If it doesn't balance then it's wrong!!" That's the only thing I learned in the class. If acct is your major then RUN - you won't learn.

He does talk too much about his personal life and other stupid stuff, but his tests are easy mutiple choice and the quizzes are simply matching definitons. I had a B+ in the class. He isn't very helpful, but it isn't hard to learn the material in class b/c he repeats things over and over.
