Extremely unorganized. Many assignments online didnt match the dates that were on the syllabus. He changed due dates from being due in a week to being due the next day without telling the class. Labeled test questions incorrectly so they were hard to find. Wasnt helpful when asking questions. Very frustrated with this professor. Wasted my time.

His lectures are entertaining but the tests are brutal if you didn't take good enough notes and study a bunch. Even though you can skip class I wouldn't recommend doing it because the tests will be very difficult. Plus the only assignments are 10 quizzes and 4 tests you have to do good. The bright side is there is no cumulative final, just 4 exams

While attendance is not graded, going sure does help. Things you watch in class show up on the test and they are the easiest questions on the exam. There are only a few exams, lowest one gets dropped. The exams are not easy. Class is really only once a week, unless its exam week. The weekly quizzes are easy, but do not inflate your grade at all.

Short is passionate about what he's teaching! You do not need to attend lecture to pass. There are modules that count as weekly quizzes and they will teach you everything you need to know that will be on the test. There are a few random facts he gives in class that will be on the exams.

Use the study guide for this class. It helps a great deal since he takes questions from exam from there. He drops your lowest exam grade and there is no final for his class. Also an 87 is considered an A- for this course. Your grade comes from your exams and the weekly quizzes (they can be found on quizlet).

best teacher I have had at ASU. Really cool guy and knows his stuff. Talked to him outside of class a couple times and he's a really smart and dope dude. Homework is easy and tests are not that hard.

Was kind of worried Id end up with a B or C in this class after the first exam, but the extra credit helps a lot so make sure to do all of it. The class is only graded on 4 exams, lowest is dropped. I went to most of the classes and he would give answers to exams sometimes. Definitely an easy A if you go to class and do the study guides.

The professor is very good. Showing up to class isnt mandatory but it will help A LOT because he shows videos that are mentioned in the exams. He has study guides that are close to his tests and he gives a couple of freebies in exams. Hes very chill so i would recommend taking him

The text book is so short! It is custom so you have to buy it but it is easy to read and so short. It gives you in 10 pages what other books give you in 60. He has you find psych concepts in episodes of the twilight zone. He is funny and engaging. He makes everything much easier to see in a real world perspective.

IF YOU ARE NOT A TEST PERSON DO NOT TAKE TIS CLASS! He is honestly your average professor. He has a bit of ego about him, but other than that his class is interesting and if you are good at the test, you are golden. If you are not so savvy at test, do ALL the Extra credit it makes up 10% of the overall grade. Tests are the ONLY grades in this class

50% of the grade is from two exams and 50% is from 25 written assignments. This was probably one of the most tedious classes I have ever taken. The assignments were easy but kinda time consuming since you had to watch videos and answer questions. The tests were super weird and he had to curve both of them since everyone did bad. Do the extra credit

Dr. Short is an interesting lecturer and offers a lot of extra credit. I'd recommend doing all the extra credit you can he offers, although he does curve his exams (which are, granted, relatively difficult). Definitely study before the exams and read the textbook (which has info not mentioned in class only on tests, often)

Prof. Short was an amazing professor. He's very funny and cares about his students. He offers extra credit and drops 1 exam out of 4. He keeps the class entertained and is easy to get ahold of. I would definitely recommend him!

Robert is a pretty interesting fella. I enjoyed his lectures, however, his test were extremely difficult. At least this is my opinion. He did drop some stuff, but it didn't seem to help. I was on the verge of failing due to the test being SO heavily weighted. There's essentially NO homework, making the test the only thing in the gradebook.

Dr. Short is an awesome professor! Even though attendance isn't mandatory he gets a lot of his test questions from the lectures so I highly recommend going. The tests can be pretty tough too, but he curves them and an 87% is still considered an A. Also he only lectures once a week. Overall, I really enjoyed this course.

all chapter tests are on quizlet, so no need to worry about that. Exam questions are often answered during a lecture, and he normally tells you when too. Videos he shows in class always have multiple exam questions, so take notes on those. Otherwise, pretty easy class. Super cool and funny guy

really funny guy and pretty fun lectures. An A is 87%, and theres only 4 exams (lowest gets dropped) and 10 unproctored online quizzes (all on quizlet). Go to lectures because a lot of the videos and material mentioned in lecture are on the exams. he gives you study guides and if you study that the night before the exam you'll do fine. Easy A

Loved this class! The study guide is literally the test, very clear expectations. He's funny and very good at explaining things. The tests are 100% of the class grade, but they aren't very hard and extra credit is offered.

Dr. Short was a really funny guy, but he would often skim over the material in class and would leave most of the teaching up to online modules that take forever. His tests were pretty easy and he drops the lowest score which is nice, and he also gives you some answers right before the test.
