Whitemore is honestly one of the best and most entertaining professors i have ever had. He makes the information interesting by adding in his own whimsical views and sense of humor. TAKE HIS CLASSES!

Dr. Whitmore is an great professor. Had him for several classes over my 5 years at WVU and couldn't be happier with his teaching approach. Yeah, he's a smartass. But he loves when you're a smartass right back. Don't be deceived by his cranky demeanor. He's a good guy and will help in any way he can.......Usually.

I took the online class during the summer and it was by far the easiest class i've ever taken!! If you are a little organized and can keep up with when the quizzes are due you will get an A. I didn't even have to do the last 10 quizzes because I got such good grades on the other and I do not know anything about the subject!! TAKE THIS!

Dr. Whitmore continues to be an outstanding professor. This is my second class with the good doctor and he is awesome. Just hilarious and interesting. Worth dragging yourself out of bed to go to. This is what he was meant to do. Will look for more of his class offerings. This class satisfies 2 GEC objectives also. Cheers !

Such an easy online class if you keep track of the quiz due dates. The books were barely needed. Lots of bonus was offered in case you forgot to take a quiz or two though. He's a big smart-aleck, so avoid asking questions. Once you get to 135 points (out of like 200+ offered), you get an A, and don't have to do anymore work. Easy!!

If you can't handle this class, you won't survive college.The tests were 95% taken from the PP.Copy them out & u r good to go. Most profs will not tolerate redundant questions that have already been thoroughly addressed in the syllabus. The only reasonable ?'s were of a technical nature, and he addressed them promptly. It's college afterall not HS.

This class is classified as a mid-semester rescue course, yet I find myself spending more time on it that the courses that I am being "rescued" from. Whitmore does not help. He gets his giggles out of responding to honest questions with "here's your sign" or "look in the syllabus" I do not reccomend this class unless it's completely a last resort.

It seems Whitmore wants nothing to do with helping the students through this class. He will never help through email. You have to take 40 quizes in this class and each quiz has a powerpoint and around 18 pages of reading for each. I am usually not harsh on teachers but it just seems he doesn't want to help at all. I do not recommend this class.

Awesome teacher...brings sarcasm and wit to the classroom. The rest of you need to chill out and get a sense of humor. Go to class, do the homework and you'll get a great grade and a good show. You might even learn something your parents forgot to teach you. What else could you ask for from a professor. The animal kingdom rocks!!

Yes, he is so rude. He definitely doesn't like his students. If you have any questions, do not ask him. Tests are hard. His final is cumulative, but most questions come from previous tests. For each exam, make sure you know 4 key points of natural selection from his power point for essay questions. His all tests always ask the same question.

If you got to class every day it helps your grade. If you read the lecture you can get by with getting a B. I studied like 30mins before the tests and got a B in the class. He seems rudes sometimes, but he is still a nice and funny prof.

Yeah, he's an old fart. If you're interested in the subject, it really isn't that bad of a class. If you're not, bear with him. He can't be the most helpful prof - he often talks down on people who ask questions. He graded very easy. Tests build on eachother and become word for word. I did learn a lot in the class though, minus the bad jokes.
