He's a cool guy and cares about what he's teaching, and is clearly very knowledgeable. The syllabus is way off, the assignments are pretty unclear, and no one was prepared for the tests. Fortunately, you get those back to redo for half points. Not my favorite prof, but not the worst.

I would definitely not recommend Dr. Oglesby for an introductory class. He had a lot of difficulty trying to explain concepts to students. He assumes that students understand exactly what he is talking about, whether or not they have had prior accounting classes. He is a nice person and seems to be intelligent, but is not a good teacher.

Hilarious guy, but I could have definitely gone without his class. We had our exams online (pretty much impossible to get good grades on), had a project pushed on us two weeks before finals week, and had massive amounts of homework. Ridiculous. I got more out of reading the book than I did his lectures. He rambled on about nonrelated stuff as well.
