She was gone for 8 weeks straight in the fall semester and came back expecting us to play at an excessive level. She seems like she expects us to be concert pianists when we only take class piano because it is in our degree plan. Not a great instructor. She is an amazing pianist but im glad she is not the class piano instructor. Picks favorites.

Grades you on techniques she never taught you, doesnt care for her students, doesnt make ofc time for her students because she's always "practacing", grades harshly. Take piano elsewhere! She's a poor instructor instructor who only cares about herself.

She is great for form and analysis! Take careful notes, ask questions and spend time on your papers!!! Work to really learn the info she gives you. You will encounter it in your professional work. She expects a bunch, but gives it to her students- she cares for her students.
