Lecture heavy teaching style, but she brings in a lot of outside sources. I found the textbook to be optional. Not very many grades in the class: 4 HW, 3 exams. Exams are difficult but she curves big time.

Tough class. I found it very easy to get lost in her terminology. It really helps to work in groups but be careful not to fall into the habit of not participating in the homework assignments becuase then you are destined to fail the tests. I regretted signing up for this class every single hour i was in there. Think about it twice before you do

Took in Spring 04. Class material is somewhat interesting but be warned! Test are essay,complex,and very difficult. Homework assignments can be lengthy. Professor grades ruthlessly but gives curve at the end.

Very nice teacher. Makes the course very interesting. Just do the 4 homeworks which are very easy. The exam is pretty much out of the homeworks.
