This professor says the timings are Saturday 9am-12pm. She expects you to come at 8:50 am & leave at 1:00 pm. If you come in even 5 min late she will not tell you whether you are coming in late and will not inform students how they are performing during the semester. She cares more about her entrepreneurs than her students. Horrible, bad management

Comment:

I second that one should avoid the class at all cost. Teacher isn't very helpful, poorly structured, rude to students, etc. Even though I made a good grade, it wasn't what I expected at all. Early on the class sounds great, but atmosphere is awful.

Class is not what it sounds like. Avoid at all costs. She throws last minute project changes and makes you lecture every Saturday on topics you don't know. She does not provide any help. She makes you feel stupid when you ask for help.

Worst class ever.Try your best to avoid this class.You need learn everything yourself. She only provide vague instruction and never teach you anything.What's more, You need to spend a lot time on added Saturday class and the project.

Very helpful with everything you need. Helps out her students whenever possible. Three exams (no cumulative exam). As long as you do the work your grade will reflect it.

Comment:

This class was a waste of time and money. The professor was not at all professional or helpful. Our group project making up 50% of our grade was assigned the last few weeks of class with barely any clarification. She hardly responds to emails and interrupts students during presentations. The class offers a very biased view of microfinance.

The material is hard because the accounting is not the typical full accrual. The course is helpful because you need it for the CPA exam. Her tests are not difficult at all, just read the material and practice the questions after the chapter. The class itself is a little bit boring, but she's not hard at all.

If you are working, do nnnnnnnnnnnnnot take it. You won't catch any of the half-hour seminars, because you are at work. Home work (continuous project problem and book problem) every week. No life. 3 exams, 1 project on two non-profit orgs... No sleep. My situation was: Working and taking 3 classes.

This is an online class the material is really difficult to understand and since its online, you have to teach yourself. She gives homework every Friday to turn in and a project every week. Good luck with this teacher and course. Horrible class!!!

It's an Online class. i think it's hard to keep Accounting courses Online. you have to check the WebCT everyday and work on problems everyday otherwise you will get lost and porjects turn in through computer EVERY WEEK!
