Though law school courses primarily focus on policy and theory, Professor Kamin focuses on these things excessively so. His lectures are exclusively intellectual discourse that rarely if ever relate to facts on the ground. More of an intellectual/professor than lawyer/professor. A very skilled lecturer, but his teaching method is not for everyone.

He is a very good lecturer, has excellent command of the classroom, approaches the whole thing with a great sense of humor. This is a very politically charged subject matter and he does a great job of teaching with a balanced approach. He is accessible outside of class and is a genuinely great person to get to know. Highly recommended.

Professor Kamin is great. He might give you a serious case of "hot for teacher!" He is fun, funny, incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the material, and easy on the eyes!

I had a huge crush on this professor when I had him last year, and I know I was not alone. There is just something about the way he presents himself to students that is warm and fun. A very good teacher.

Wonderful teaching style. Comprehensive coverage. I'm in bar prep right now, and I have had to very almost zero CrimPro review because he prepared us so well. I looked forward to going to class, given his insight and sense of humor. I liked the book. Reading assignments were reasonable in length. Final is open book/notes - 4 hours.
