Very interesting. He has great experience and passion. He brings in his collection frequently. Attendance is taken, but it is not a terrible class to go to. Little homework and fun atmosphere.

Scott Antes is a clown, but really knows the information. This semester, we didn't use our textbook because he didn't want people to buy it, but I'm pretty sure that was just a one time thing. He'll let you know if you need it. Always gives extra credit questions on the tests from his "Tasty Tidbits" . You have a 1 page paper due every week. Easy.

This class was very interesting and entertaining. I would suggest not missing class as the midterm and final are completely based on what he discusses in class. They are also online, essay style exams. Easy though if you attend and take notes! Great professor! Super nice and interesting guy.

A midterm and a final with weekly 1 page papers and 1 group project. No notes, he lectures and a few handouts on bblearn. Videos shown in class only and attendance is graded. He says tasty tidbits at the beginning that are used for extra credit on tests. While an easy class, he was a bit confusing at times on his expectations or went on tangents.

I really enjoy Scott Antes. I did get a bit frustrated with him because I felt that he did not clarify things too well, but when I asked him for more clear instructions he did not hesitate to help me out as best as he could. He is an easy and fair grader! He is pretty old, but really helpful. Sometimes he drags on, but that's ok!

Comment:
I took ANT 300 my first semester of my freshman year. It is an upper level course and it is a lot of work and a TON of reading. If you go to the lecture you will have no problems. Unlike other professors he's anything but intimadating but could be more organized. I would take another class from this professor.

Antes is quite a liberal professor who dedicated lectures to global warming, and other topics unrelated to course. Took him a week to respond to an e-mail. Despite this, he was an easy professor I would take again.

Scott's ANT 102 class is SO EASY! There are two exams for the semester, weekly "papers" (they are 1-2 double spaced so super easy) and he gives extensions for late work without penalty. You don't have to go to class to do well, but he does give facts in class for extra credit on the exam. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this class. It is an easy A!!

Long lectures for an 8am class! weekly assignments worth 5 points-easy. Group discussions. Group prj. All easy if you do the work. Test and final are in class. study guide. Watches a lot of youtube videos and tests on them so you need to attend as much as you can. Extra credit if you attend and hear his tasty tid bit. asks at then end of tests.

Comment:
The absolute most uninspiring class i've ever taken. Professor Antes' lectures are unorganized, frequently off-topic, and incredibly boring. He's done some amazing work in his career but can't manage to convey his thoughts in a way that is of equal caliber. Getting an A is easy, but don't expect to gain much from attending class.

This class was very easy, but incredibly dull for me. I almost never went to class and still managed a B. There were only two exams and a group presentation, and as long as you do decently on them, you'll pass. Remember the tasty tidbits if you want the easy points on your exams! But you have to actually attend class for those. WRITE THEM DOWN!
