This professor is extremely nice and is professional. However, he is not a good online professor. Does not give detail on what he needs in the assignments and assumes you already know everything. Would never take him again. Yes he curves but not enough.

Comment:

Absolutely wonderful man! Very nice and very helpful. But, the thing I didn't like about his class, was that he was not very clear at all for what he wanted and expected from assignments, especially the projects. I'm sure if this class was taken in the classroom, it wouldn't be as bad. Do NOT take him if you have to take this class online.

I took OMGT 3123 the online class and it was straight-forward. I wish I had more time to spend on his class. Dr. Dellana is a very good teacher and a good person at heart. He cares about students and it shows, of all I have seen he is one of the few best professors at ECU. Highly recommended!

Comment:

Dr. Dellana is generally a nice person but is extremely difficult. He only gives 3 tests with very vague study guides. In most classes homework grades are made to help you out, NOT in this class. Lectures are slow. Only positive thing is the "slight" curve he gives on tests. He expects his students to be as smart as him, which is unrealistic.

2 attempts for wkly quizzes-nice but recorded reviews not avail until 12p on due date, limiting access for some. Examples given in notes didn't always pertain to assignments & were no help, neither was prof in these cases-lots of self teaching. DB a complete waste of time but do it for the points. Tough but fair final-still would not take him again

This is a tough class. The material doesn't hang together and this prof writes horrible test questions. But, like any other prof, he has an ego than can be stroked. Play nice and pretend to have an interest in his passions. You'll suddenly find your scores have secretly improved. I kid you not.

Yes he does teach difficult material but he is helpful. Make sure you know excel and some flow charts. Took online so I'm not sure how he was in person. I had really good partners and almost made an A in tough class

I have rated this professor before. The classes he teaches are tough, but he gives students every chance to excel. If you have him online DO THE DISCUSSIONS. Attempt all the work even if it seems impossible. He provides study guides and curves, what else could you ask for!!!

Easy class. Quizzes are open-book, offers a review session before mid-term and final exam, only two assignments to turn in. Do the extra credit and discussion boards and you are guaranteed an A!!

I took the online class and although there was a lot of work to cram into SSI, the teacher did a very good job of making sure your learn the material. His tests were straight off his review sheets and attending the review sessions were a plus because he would tell you what was on the test and what wasn't. Would highly reccomend this teacher!!!

I took this class online. It was an easy class. Do the assigned problems, do the extra credit, print off the questions and it will be an A. I spent no more than 3 hours a week for this class and I made a B without doing one assignment and some of the discussion. This is college peeps.

Lectures were a bit boring.Very intelligent man, he comes from all walks of life and incorporates this in his lectures to keep it interesting. Test are not that hard he passes out a study guide.If you do the suggested homework, study the online quizzes, and go to class you will do well!
