Certainly not a bad professor, but not one of my favorites. She whizzes through the material without confirming that we have a good understanding of it. Tests are pretty difficult, and she writes at a microscopic level. The book has helped though, which is a plus.

Goes way too fast and she jumps right into worksheets and assignments without telling us what to read or how to do something. If you want to get at least a small chance of understanding, you better know how to read cursive and small handwriting. NO STUDY GUIDES HERE. YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN. May the odds be ever in your favour.

I have to say, she isn't the easiest professor. I had her for Intermediate Actg 1 and 2 but you do have to get used to her teaching style (always exercises). Like any accounting major will tell you, accounting classes aren't easy, no matter your professor. Work hard, ask questions, study connect and all the exams in class and you'll do great.

I laughed at all the 211 ones, sorry. I am acct and finc 2x major and her class is REALLY TOUGH, but it is absolutely passable with a B or even A. Suggestions... Do the online homework, study the homework you did for the tests, TAKE NOTES - STUDY THOSE NOTES. she does expect alot from you but this is accounting there is no such thing as easy. GL

All of the work assigned and all tests are given through this site called "Connect". On D2L she gives us the main things we need to know for each chapter. This class is incredibly hard but if you study hard then you will at least pass, and that's really all that matters.

Literally one of the worst professors I've ever had. She expects you to know everything about accounting and she goes way too fast. She is also super condescending to any students who ask questions during class. Find another accounting professor if you can.

Do not take her class. She expects you to know everything about accounting without her teaching any of the material. You have to teach yourself.

What a wonderful teacher! This was my first semester ever taking any sort of business class, especially accounting, and quite frankly, she's inspiring! She gets right to it, and does examples until you get it, which is so much better than stating facts. She's funny, and really believes in her students. You can tell how incredibly smart she is.

This is one of the worst teacher I have ever had. I cannot understand her-she speaks to fast and moves to fast. Could not read her writing. She was rude to the students by ignoring them. She assumes everyone is at her level. She said "I don't have time to answer questions!" Taking this class with her is not worth the money! I have a 3.8 gpa too!!

Dr. Saubert is more than likely the best Accounting professor at Radford. However, that does not mean her class is easy. It is by far the most challenging class (Intermediate) taken thus far. She is always willing to work with you. Make sure you attend class because she goes over lots of problems in the book and notices if you are there everyday.

Not sure what's up with all the negative reviews. Yes, the class is hard. She's helpful but you have to keep up f y ask questions, she'll explain. Nevermind these crybabies that show why teachers hate rate my professor.

Dr. Saubert is the hardest professor I have ever had. She does not teach but rather writes problems on the board en expects people to understand the chapter and learn the concepts through that method. Her tests are nothing short of impossible and she is an example of the the issues with the tenure system. The whole grade is virtually test scores!!!

She has been one of the worst teachers I have ever had. Sometimes she does not even correct hoemwork problems so you need to fend for yourself...not to mention that i had consistant 60's on her tests. I have gotten A's and B's in all previous courses and I am expecting at best a C this semester if not a D. This has been a horrible class.

Lynn has been teaching in the class room for a long time now. I think it is time she prepares students for the real world. Reading a book and doing problems are one thing, but she needs to incorporate some real life scenarios. Also, she needs to learn how to use spreadsheets. No one does accounting in the real world with pencil and paper. EXCE

Lovely, lovely lady, but not a good teacher. Expects students to answer questions when asked, and basically teach yourself. She does do problems which are helpful, but tests are almost impossible. she offers some quizzes for extra grades and takes attendance. for our tests class avg is about a 70. very tough class, wouldnt take it unless i had to
