I truly contemplated dropping out of the college of business track because of how bad at teaching he was. Made so many mistakes during examples and literally offered extra credit to those who called out his mistakes... gets super frustrated when you ask questions and dont understand. You literally have to teach yourself - truly terrible.

Professor Lloyd will rarely get through two examples per class period. Each riddled with errors and eraser marks. Cancelled class after I had already driven to campus at 9am on multiple occasions. He seems like a nice guy but he's not well suited to be a teacher. Be prepared to teach yourself everything. It's what I did to get an A. Bad professor.

This is my first time on here just to warn people not to take this class with him. He is a decent guy but is an awful teacher. Every class he makes multiple errors, leading to him giving extra credit to people that find his mistakes. I got a F on the 1st test so for the 2nd I had to teach myself and got A because I did not learn in class.

Dr. Lloyd is the sorriest excuse for a professor that I have ever had. Calling him a teacher is an insult to anybody who actually teaches students because I learned nothing from him this semester. He somehow manages to make nearly a dozen errors per class, despite the fact that we rarely get through more than a couple of examples.

Just do yourself a huge favor, don't take his class. Anyone could explain statistics better than him. If you do take his class you have to go to lecture because he gives pop quizzes, but most of the time he just does problems the whole time and never explains what he does. He's a smart guy but bad teacher. Most scatterbrained prof I've ever had.

All in all no better then a student teacher. Seems like he wants to help, this would be a misconception..... expect a hostile response. Clearly can't stay on topic, when doing work no explanations just answers with minimal instruction. Notes upcoming students, buy the textbook and teach yourself. This guy is ZERO help.

Worst teacher I've ever had. Very smart man but does not know how to teach. Unable to finish explaining one thing before realizing he has messed up and has to start over has left many without a clue how to do any statistics problems and reflects in the very low test average. Gets snappy and upset when you ask him questions.

Really nice guy. But very unorganized. His lectures are all over the place. If you sat in on the class period before your own, I guarantee you would learn something else. Very inconsistent with grading. I heard he curves the final grade, so hopefully I will do well in this class. Struggled the whole semester, wouldn't recommend.

He has a scattered brain as described but not when it comes to the lectures. As long as you don't fall behind in the first few easy exams then you'll get an A

While many seem amused by his stories, when it comes to assignments he is awful. Very vague, and then responds aggressive and unprofessionally rude. He makes you feel like you've done a bad job, despite lack of clarity. Total catch 22. Worst of all its all about his ego. If you stroke his ego, your probably fine. If not, good luck

Professor Lloyd is really a nice guy and really funny to talk to but kind of scatter brained. Most of the lecture is spent doing problems on the overhead. There's no multiple choice on the tests he just give's you a problem and you answer it which is hard because you know it or you don't. Lets you bring a page of notes for quizzes and tests.

Scott Lloyd is a very nice and approachable person. His one flaw is that he is very confused with what he is trying to teach. When he messes something up it snowballs on him and everything goes wrong. It is imperative to know how to use the book properly when this happens to avoid disaster. Overall an A is very attainable in this class.

Professor Lloyd is a good man. The class is actually not too difficult as long as you pay attention, copy his notes, and work practice problems. He even lets you make a cheat sheet for quizzes and tests which are a huge help. Lloyd won't baby you through this class, but getting an A is certainly possible.

A nice man, but poor teacher. He makes many mistakes that just confuse the whole class and his quizzes are brutal. Both quizzes and tests tend to have things he has never gone over. He looks to trick students and almost wants them to do poorly, rather than caring about their grades.

nice guy. hard to follow in class though. jumps all over the place when teaching and doesnt use the book. his feedback on papers focuses more on the grammer/writing style than the content. easy grader though
