The prof goes on some tangents here and there, but overall his classes were so entertaining. If you really want to score an A in the class, I suggest, take A LOT of notes, on everything, especially on the things he puts on the board. Be nice, communication is the key, ask ques, an you'll definately get an A like me! :)

(Fall 2k8) Great class. He made it pretty interesting. The guy must be a stoner, cuz he goes on tangents ALL the time, so he's hard to follow. Pretty funny guy, but he is biased... very conservative, which is a breath of fresh air. I imagine if it wasn't an election year, it wouldn't factor in. Do the work and study and you'll do just fine.

Terrible. Maybe had a page of notes after a month of class. Asserts his opinion on every topic, is extremely biased and I found it hard to believe he knew what he was talking about. The class is worse than junior high and as a history major he teaches so poorly that I think I could do a far better job. Gets off topic every step of the way.

DO NOT TAKE HIM! i got A's on EVERYTHING. Almost 100% in the class. The final grade he gave me was a C. He gave my friend (who didn't do the project and failed the 1st test) a B. It is definitely based on favoritism and i don't even think he knew who i was. Horrible teacher. He's an easy teacher, but you won't get the grade you deserve.

Scott Moffat is a great teacher. At first we did not get a long, butted heads a little, but after i figured him out, great guy. Gets off topic a little more than the average teacher but he has a great sense of humor and know what he is teaching. I would recodmend Moffatt as professor that you should take.

FANTASTIC!!! i loved this class! He is so helpful, and really brings the subject home. he teaches via subject, theme and importance and not always in chronological order, but i find this more helpful and easier to remember. hes always available for extra help and is very clear about all of his grading! i hope to take another of his classes again.

He wanders off topic too much, misses a lot of class and never returns e-mails or calls. I scored B's on all my exams and somehow ended up with a D for a final grade.... he's like the absent minded professor.

Totally scatter- brained; does not lecture on any thing related to the material; you will stress out because you have no idea what to expect, but he curves the grades significantly (probably because he knows how little he taught and how ambiguous what he discussed was); easy to get an A, but not worth feeling under- taught; 3 tests with essay Q's.

He is one of the best professors I had while at Fullerton College. He was entertaining which made sitting through a 3 hour class a lot easier than it could have been. He doesn't really expect much of you other than to show up to class, take notes, and read the chapters assigned. Do these things and you will get an A.

He treats his students like they are in high school, he is very immature and never lectured. He would just talk about nonsense, but when it was test day we were expected to know things he had never even mentioned. Don't take him, he is not worth a bad grade.

This is an actual quote took from him, "History is ambiguous, therefore so is your grade" Ill be honest the guy seems nice, but he gave assignments with no clear outline of what he expected, missed class several times in the first 2 weeks, and when in class, allowed videos to do most of the teaching.

Moffatt thinks he's stil teaching junior high, he does not lecure at all and you basically have to teach yourself. The class is a waste of time. I dont recommend him at all, unless you want to feel like your back in junior high.

He is the HOTTEST professor I've ever had and I've been in college for 10 years now! Besides, the hotness factor - - the class was pretty interesting. I like the way he lectured, made class fun. I would take this class again because he's so darn HOT. Or even change my major =)

He won't hand you an A, but if you study for the essay portion of the exams, you will do well. He basically hands you the essay questions in advance giving you the opportunity to succeed with a little effort. He is easy to listen to and fairly laid back.

Cool and friendly teacher. Will go the extra mile to help you if you do his extra credit work, also if you ask him for e. c. work. Show your interest for the class. If you constantly read the book, but not extremes, and do extra credit work, take him for an A. If you don't, and still want or need an A, then seek other instructor.

DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER!!!! He is soo hard. He give notes orally but gets off the subject all the time. When you ask about the exam he tells you to study your notes. If your good at test taking then go ahead and take the class. There is three exams that consist of multiple choice, fill in the blank, and an essay question (hard).
