I recommend Reeve to the fullest. He answers any questions that you might have in class and will spend as much time as you need until you understand it. He's the best professor I've had at Arkansas State.

He's okay. LOTS of connect homework which isn't usually covered in class and takes hours. He doesn't put much effort forth-no help with technical HW issues and doesn't make his own powerpoints/homework. He expects you to already know most of the stuff he teaches and isn't good at explaining. Easy A or B if you do the HW, though.

I loved Dr. Reeve's class. He was a fun professor to be around and was very nice. If you ask for help, then he has no problem explaining it. I wish I could take him for Chem 2. His tests a 20 questions all multiple choice and homework is administered online with unlimited attempts. Attendance wasn't mandatory but if you go, you should get an A or B

Even if he put it in Laymans terms, I wouldn't be able to understand what he was talking about. He's nice, but just sarcastic and just tough overall.

I took Dr. Reeve for Chem 1. He gives bonus points for in class assignments, his homework is tough but he gives you unlimited attempts. So, there is no excuse not to get all of the homework points. The homework is also tougher than the tests and averages with your tests, so if you get a 100 on your homework you can pass the class easily!

He has been one of my favorite professors by far. I took him for both Gen Chem 1 and 2. I went to Professor Reeve's office before every test. I emailed him if I couldn't get to his office. He doesn't mind answering all of your questions, you just have to make an effort! Ask questions in class too. Wouldn't have passed without his help.

Come to class and he gives bonus points for completing in class assignments. I would have had a high D or low C if not for going to class and doing the bonus assignments. I ended up with an A.

Not a bad teacher. Explains things well. Homework is difficult, almost never covered in class, the software you use for it is hard to use, and is worth 13rd of your final grade. Tests are fairly difficult, but there are only 3, and the final is optional.

I loved Professor Reeve! Class is recommended as he gives bonus opportunities sometimes and studying is required as well. The homework takes a long time to complete, but is essential in preparing for the tests. Not an easy class, but if you put in the time and effort to understand the material then it will definitely be beneficial

He doesn't teach at all! All he does is read off the Power Points, which you can do on your own at home. He doesn't go over examples or answer questions when asked. The tests are extremely hard and the homework is long and hard as well. I wouldn't recommend him teacher for anyone.

Terrible teacher in every way. Refuses to help and never works examples. Might as well sit and read the powerpoints on your own and get the same grade.

DO NOT take him!!! He doesn't teach, he just reads powerpoints. There is only one example per equation which is worked out in the powerpoint for you. He never physically goes to the board to work a problem. He expects you to know every thing on test when hardly even teaches! Homework is extremely long and worth at least 200 pts each!

Does NOT explain anything very clearly. All he does is read the powerpoints and go over very basic example. He expect you to have MASTERED any pre-reqs. Hope you fully understand everything from chem 1 and algebra. He treats chem 2 like its a senior level course. DO NOT TAKE.

You MUST go to class everyday. You will get along if you know Star Trek, Gophers, hockey, german, and get a hardon for lasers. None of which I do and we still got along. The HW is really long and sucks. Start it ASAP don't procrastinate in this class!

This is a very challenging course, which is fitting since he likes to challenge his students. He wants to see what you are made out of. When asking a question, he often went above my head explaining the answer. Overall, it wasn't a horrible experience, just not a plesant one either.

A very good, chalenging teacher. You must go to class. You must do the homework and ask questions. You will spend more time studying than you ever had before, but you will know what you are doing if you try. His test questions come straight from examples from the notes and from the homework. You must know where stuff comes from(derivations).
