Fantastic teacher! Knows what he is talking about. You dont use a text book, but real life cases and information. The way a class should be taught. You do things that actual accountants do in the field. Usually in class for only 1 to 1 1/2 hrs. It is a lot of work outside class though. He is a fair and easy grader. Willing and ready to help.

Whisenant is one of the best professors I've ever had. He is genuinely enthusiastic about the subject, has real life experience in the subject, does research on the subject, and offers practical advice (and makes the class fun). Its not an easy class, but you'll learn a lot.
