Comment:

This professor don't explain what she expects from students and when she asks a student to re-do their homework, it seems like she doesn't follow up with the corrected homework for grading. That's a wrong way to educate students.

Comment:

As this is an intensive writing class it makes sense that there are a lot of papers but for an intensive writing class it is a reasonable amount. Weekly short answers and discussion board on top of small papers here and there. Not a tough grader. Good at grading paper in the beginning then mid semester stopped grading papers.

Comment:

To be honest this Professor has been unhelpful all semester. When giving assignments it was very hard to understand what is to be done. While I'm at it her feedback on assignments was late and not very helpful. I have done numerous classes with many great professors unfortunately she is not one of them look for another class.

Comment:

Professor Gersh responded to my e-mails very promptly, and gave great feedback on my assignments. It's evident that she cares about her students, and their success. However, she didn't follow the syllabus much, which confused the class a but. BUT, she gave us extra time to complete assignments. If you work hard, you'll certainly pass. She's great.

She is so extra! I did 90% of the work and I go to check my grade and she gives me an INC. I ask her & she says it's because I didn't complete 1 discussion board she proceeds to tell me to do it over again. Her work is meaningless & she will give you the INC and not even tell you. She will let you find out on your own & tell u to make it up! WORST!

If you are an A, or even a B student you will get a C on this class. First of all, this prof DOES NOT grade your assignments and when the semester is over she will email you asking to fix your papers or otherwise she will summit an INC grade for the class. ( YUP!, she emailed me on December 26 to the 29). Next time i will read comments here.

She is all over the place. She takes forever to grade your paper. This class taught me absolutely nothing she also piles on work at the end of the semester most of the assignments were vague and meaningless she makes you do journal summaries of the textbook, which she never grades. I would avoid taking her there are easier LEH classes you can take

This professor is HORRIBLE at keeping up with grades throughout the semester. HORRIBLE, at grading period. Keeps asking for revisions when she never gives grades! I feel like her overall grade is based on how she feels because it is impossible for her to sum up your grade when she never gives grades for individual Assignments

I took this professor for on line and she was the worst. She doesn't grade none of the work ever. She never gives any feed back on nothing. You basically do work and never know where you stand with you class performance. She also expects you to resubmit work but how could you if she never graded the first assignment. MAKES NO SENSE!!!!

This was the worst class in Lehman I ever took, because this prof. was incompetent at teaching this class, was not present online to participate with students, didn't reply and didn't check her e-mails, didn't check or grade works online, graded only on the transcript very late and book " On paradise drive.." assigned to the class was irrelevant.

This was an American Culture class. It was taught on-line. Having a little knowledge of basic computer/software would help but not needed. The assignments were well explained. The professor was available for questions during the semester. Keeping in touch with the class regularly.
