Dr. Starkey is absolutely awful. Doesn't follow any sort of schedule, changes due dates every class period, forgets the class he is even in, is impossible to get ahold of outside of class. Did not learn a THING in this class. Only watched mindless videos. It is horrible that I was forced to spend thousands of dollars on this useless class.

Incredibly unorganized! Dr. Starkey says he will do something and then does not follow through. He rarely answers emails, and NEVER gives feedback or rubrics for work. Worst online class I have taken. If you have the chance to take it with someone else, do yourself a favor and take it.

Dr. Starkey is so unorganized it drives me crazy. There are no rubrics for any of the assignments even though he "promises" they would be provided, so you pretty much have to just guess what he wants. His due dates are all over the place and he's constantly changing them. He basically just doesn't follow his syllabus at all and I can't stand it.

Dr. Starkey was very helpful. He's a really friendly guy. He's got a lot of interesting stories! One thing I really liked was that anyone who did poorly on the midterm could go to his office and "talk" their way through the answer. He changed my grade to an A after I met with him.

Nicest man ever! very fair and wants you to do well and get good grades. Learned a lot of useful info. about teaching. Tests are hard, though. Only a midterm, presentation, reflection paper, and a final. I would take any class he taught.

What an intolerable person. As the head of the elementary ed department, he pretty much typifies what a teacher should not be like. Mean, cold, cruel, condescending, and completely uninterested in students. Why is he even here?

I really like Dr. Starkey. He is always willing to help you, and is ready to answer your questions. He has a great personality, and I look forward to his class everyday. He makes sure his students understand before continuing on. I highly recommend him!

Excellent teacher. Its what you put into the class that counts. Take what he says and gives you to do and do it 100%. Quit being so critical of how he might appear. I bet he was once a great teacher and encourages us to do that also. Thanks, Dr Starkey for being a great teacher.

If you want to listen to an egomaniac and watch him prance around like a little girl this is the professor for you. I learned nothing about this course but I learned about how wonderful he is. never at office hours doesn't return phone calls or emails. treats you like junk.

Dr. Starkey is one of the most arrogant people I've met. If he has it out for you, you'd better watch out...he'll do anything he can to make your life hell! Ex: The person above me in the grade book dropped the class after the first week, therefore doing no work...he said it was ME who didn't turn in work, yelled at me in front of the class, then finally realized his mistake. Did I get an apology? Nope. What an ****. Stay as far from him as possible.
