Professor Medin is amazing! I was always lacking in math but Professor Medin knows exactly how to explain and show you how it is done in order for it to really click. She is the best math teacher I have EVER had and I 100% recommend her if you need someone who will take the time to make sure you know the material. Great job!!

Ms. Sheila is an AMAZING teacher! Ive always struggled with math. I had to retake this course for the 3rd time because it was such a difficult subject for me. She was clear and had a steady pace with each problem she did. Make sure you study her study guides because they make each exam so much easier!! Ms. Sheila if your reading this.. thank you!

She was great! She made sure the lectures were understood before moving on. She can teach a little fast but has no issue slowing down if you ask. Overall shes the best professor Ive had.

The class started with more than 30 students and end with 15. The class isn't difficult. She explains clearly and give examples. If you put attention to the class and do some exercises in the MathXL, you will get >90 in the test. Homework worth 15%, so you can skip if you get tired (too much). She give an extra 10% for your carpet that do in class.

Her teaching style is AMAZING, she's very clear on her lectures. She has clear objectives for her lessons. Also engages students in learning. She thought us strategies that made approaching any math problem fun, and easy.

Math is hard but professor medin explains in detail to make it easier. Provides study guides which are so helpful. She shows you how to even use the calculator correctly, makes a differnce. arrives to class 30 min early for students who have questions. She provides extra credit if you dont miss. I enjoyed her class even though I hate math.

I am not good in math. But her teaching made me understand math faster. Her class is never boring time passes by fast because she is always lecturing, reviewing and doing math problems. ALWAYS go to class, you'll be lost if you miss one class since she covers a lot. we used MATH XL, los of homework. She is an amazing teacher.

Disrespectful, rude, she has "attitude" most of the time, the online tool she uses for hw is pretty confusing some times and she does not care about it. Lost of homework and quizzes and tests which is good, but her bad attitude kills your spirit.

I have no clue where to start. if you are someone who struggles with math DO NOT take her. she is not available outside of class at all. she gets mad if you ask questions. easily irritated, most of the time when students would ask her questions she would answer and not even make eye contact with you. she is super rude. I would not recommend her.

Mrs. Medin is by far the best Math professor I've taken. I took this course at City college several times and did not pass it. I took this class on the summer and yes it was a lot of hw and it was fast but I learned a lot. She was so nice I wanted to hug her however she is a tough grader and very strict but nothing out of the ordinary. Love her!

this professor is tough, strict, she doesn't treat everyone equally. However, if you do not skip classes, work really hard, do all the homework, pay close attention to the class, don't make questions, and take all the test and quizzes you'll be fine.

Sheila is great! I've always struggled with math, but she breaks down the concepts and repeats them over the entire semester to help reinforce them. Homework in MathXL and she creates a binder for us to use instead of a book ($55 Otay Books). She speaks and works quickly, but she's accurate and concise. Show up and do the work, you'll pass!

Prof Medin teaches quickly. One or two chapters she covers over and over but you need to be a quick learner. She gives you an opportunity to pass her class that is for sure! Beware of questions if you can't take a little lash back. I think shes the greatest though not everyone can keep up or tolerate. You can pass her class and that counts. Mathxl

Professor Medin is awesome. She cares about students and lectures well. Study for test and pay attention and you will be good to go. The best part of class was when she would step outside to yell at the crow that would regularly squack during lecture. Also, shes beautiful :).

Amazing prof!!! Breaks everything down, easy to understand, and I have never been lost in class. Homework is average for a math class... quizzes and exams are very straight forward. If she teaches more than one of the same class, let's you go to different class times if needed. TAKE HER CLASSES.
