Old fashioned professor. I cant believe the bad reviews on here. Youll get an A if you go to every class and pay attention to the lecture because you get tested on the vocabulary from it. You learn a lot in this class. No need to buy textbooks, she prints everything out. Shes such a gem. She curves a lot, she really wants her students to succeed

Write down everything she says, 2 midterms, 1 essay (easy), 1 final. She curves all the exams. All the exams are based on the key terms and definitions she gives. Super easy class if you study the vocabulary. There is a book you have to read for the final, but honestly you can pass without reading! I skimmed the book and got an A. Oral lecture

Sweet lady but very old fashioned. Makes you read a boring book, gives 2 midterms, term paper and a final. Take a recorder in case you cant catch what she says. Practically an oral lecture.

I honestly did not know what to expect for this class and after I took it I wish I didnt. All this class is is Vocab literally the midterms and final are on vocab so don't worry as long as you go to class and get the words down you're good do not recommend taking it at 8am unless you want to sleep and she says the word "basically" a lot a heads up

Class can be very boring as she talks the whole time but it is important to take note of terms and definitions and of what she writes on the board. Tests are not hard as they are just terms and explanations. She is pretty old school but very knowledgeable. Despite the boredom, the class is not difficult and worth taking.

Best professor I have ever had. So sweet and passionate about what she teaches. I actually loved going to her classes and I am not a philosophy major. Exams are definitely tough though if you don't pay attention in class.

She lectures through the entire class period and they can seem a bit boring and long. You need one book for this class but it's pretty cheap. The class has one midterm, a paper (easy), and a final. Her tests include one question from the book so reading it is a must.

You must show up to class everyday. She lectures throughout the entire class meaning it is crucial you be there. Organized notes is essential to passing. The class was very interesting and eye opening. I recommend everyone take this course! One midterm, paper and final. She will have one essay question on the book in every test so read. Great prof.

She's lectures through the entire class but is very nice. As long as you do good on the paper , which is easy, you'd get at least a B. A study guide outline is given but is still very vague in terms to what is on the exam.

She only lectures throughout the whole class so attendance is a MUST. She gives you an outline of her lectures before hand. There's 1 mid term, a paper & the final in which she curves a lot!

She lectures the whole class! There's nothing else you do in class other than listen to her talk. She's interesting but its easy to fall asleep in class. Very easy grader. Attendance not mandatory but, in class is where you learn everything so yea go dont rely on copying notes from others.

Honestly, probably the worst professor I have ever had. Just boring the entire way, doesn't even follow her own outline. The test are terrible, though she grades on the nastiest curve. I got a 57 on midterm out of a hundred and it was a solid B. I got a B in the class, but it was a waste of time. Boring, boring, boring boring.

She talks through the entire lecture, so there will be lots of note taking. No class interaction.. I tried to stay awake, but recorded her in case I missed something. Her exams are in essay format, kinda challenging but grades on a huge curve so it's almost impossible to do bad. If you fail this class, you should just drop out of school.
