Loved her. Sweet funny southern lady, laughs and makes jokes. Very Easy! Makes sure you understand and gives tons of practice. Want to take her for Comp 2 but shes moving back to Texas :(

I had Mrs. B for 2 semesters last year. She is a very engaging and caring woman, who will go the extra mile (if you do). Aced both classes finals and all. The lowest grade I received was a B on my research paper. And I deserved it.

She is a very nice teacher,yet not a very good one. This class is extremely easy. Basically all you have to do is show up occasionally and do the 6 papers. I did not learn a thing. It is not very good preparation for comp 2. I imagine those who go on have trouble in it. I would not recommend her.

Love this class. It's so easy. She has tests and papers all over the syllabus but we have only had 1 test and 1 paper due. Mrs. B. always has a smile on her face and she is always very cheery. I would totally take her again.

Burkhalter is an okay teacher. She's almost always cheerful. Her notes on the board a bit disorganized and not all that helpful. She seems to be rather conservative and sensitive to hot topics, so make sure you're professional in her class. She's not the worst teacher, but she's definitely not the best.
