Professor Mussatto clearly cares about her students! I took her online class for American Literature and absolutely loved it. The assignments & due dates were clear, she provided us with so many extra opportunities to learn, the writing assignments were actually fun because I was looking forward to hearing feedback from her.

Comment:

In her mythology class, her midterm and final are both 100 question tests worth 250 points. They asked questions about things she never covered. The study guides for the test were useless and she is horrible about answering emails in a timely manner.

Comment:

I took her for classical mythology and it was one of the poorest planned out classes. Due dates would pop up and change weekly. She never updated the course due dates until the very end of the semester after everything was already due. Very unorganized and a very harsh grader. Mythology is not a make or break class lady.

Comment:

One of my absolute favorite professors and I would take all of her classes for fun if I could. She has such an amazing way of helping you learn the material and is an outstanding lecturer. She is quite the character! There are many discussions and homework assignments, but they're not too difficult. Attend all classes for extra credit at the end.

Professor Mussatto was amazing. We started using a new online forum other than D2L. It took some time to get used to but thankfully Professor Mussatto was there to walk us through it and learn about it with us. She is great professor and truly cares about her students.

Class Myth 2343 OH MY DEAR LORD! I have to say she is one of the worst teachers at Rose. She is so unorganized. It is so hard to find the homework that you have because of all her extras she adds. You also get points doc'd off your discussion post if you posted 6 hours before its due. She DOESN'T tell you why! It was 4 paragraphs long!-70%

Hands down one of the best classes I have ever taken. She is a great teacher and is very enthusiastic about what she teaches. There are options for extra credit through the passport program and if you pay attention and take notes, this class will be a breeze and it will be fun. The tests come from the powerpoints she makes so lecture is important.

Comment:

She is one of the best Professors I have had at my time at Rose. American Humanities requires a LOT of work, with reading, papers, and Homework. Heads up, best thing to do for her papers is to write more than what you think is necessary. She is a very energetic person, that truly cares about every one of her students.

I loved taking her class! I was kind of nervous considering it was my first semester in college but she was super welcoming and nice! If you ever need help, she is very fast at responding to emails or helping you out in class. The class was pretty much going at your own pace. Overall, I highly recommend taking any class with her!

Took online Mythology class. Super easy just read over her Powerpoints & watch videos. Answers are directly in videos & notes. Takes no late work but still is doable.

Tons of chances for extra credit. Quizzes are due the day before you go over the material in class which makes them more difficult but you more prepared for lecture. Two projects for the class. Always upbeat for class which made learning fun.

I took online American Lit to 1865. You have to read in this class, which is kind of obvious since this is an English class. She does NOT give a lot of homework. She gives a normal amount. Her grading is not harsh, but if you are not applying yourself to the work she gives you, it does not go un-noticed. My writing has improved so much. Good class

Professor Mussatto is very disorganized and she always has to make some sort of sound when it seems to fall quiet. She does not let you make up any assignment no matter the reason and rarely is available outside of class. It seems like she is out to get you in some way shape or form. Her class is no laughing matter so get out while you can!

US humanities She is unorganized, she tells you the pages to read for the quizzes and then the night before it was due she would change it. she would do this routinely, even after nicely asking her and telling her that I have am a single parent working 2 jobs. and I need to schedule the work in she didn't care and would not work with you at all.

I was hesitant to take this class online. She made it very understandable and is easy to talk too. There are some alpia assignments, class discussions online and three essays plus a final essay done at the campus testing center. Over all good class and good professor but she is not afraid to gave a F on an essays.

She gave fun assignments that made it interesting and there were a few times I REALLY needed major help and she took the time.
