Hagman is a really big name in the world of Graphic Design and it is great to have a person like that for a teacher. I was taking this class along with 4 other classes - don't do that!You have to do a LOT of work. Hard to get a good grade if you don't have a completely perfect craft. She doesn't explain the assignments properly.

It's very hard to make an A on projects, but it makes getting an A sweeter. She is professional and can guide you the right way if you try. But this class time-demanding, mostly if you are someone who has a job or other duties. You constantly need to make a lot of sketches and color them.

Class is challenging. She's nice but her suggestions are somewhat confusing. She will tell you how to change your work and then you do and she will completely say something different the next class. Critiques are boring. You have to be really dedicated to this class to make an A. Worked my butt off and made a C. A lot of late nights.

One of the best teachers I've ever had! She totally believed in me and encouraged me to continue on in things I was interested in. remembers you after you graduate...and is always willing to offer good advice! A definite chili pepper is in order for such and awesome teacher!

As a whole, class is easy, but there's a lot of busy work (sketches). No textbook required.She wants us to be original, so she never shows examples which can backfire into a very confused student on what exactly she wants! She doesn't teach per se, she'll direct you by critique-ing your work. She's VERY picky; hard to get an A. Buy LOTS of sharpies

what an amazing instructor! she has such insight and inspiration for you. very soft spoken, but very effective. she enjoys experimentation in type since she's a type designer. i love her sense of world perspective!
