Stacy is an amazing professor! She is really nice & makes her grading criteria very clear. I promise if you show up & read & study a bit you should get nothing less than an A. She has a very positive attitude & creates a great learning environment. She will also make you feel very comfortable during presentations, & trust me they're not that bad.

It was an okay class but she is a really great professor. The tests were a lot harder than I thought they would be though, even with the study guide.

I had her for a summer class so, some things may be off compared to other reviews. I do recommend her for a summer course, she will constantly say that it will go by fast, she makes you read two chapters almost every night, then you will have a quiz on a small scantron the next day. For your final, you will have to do an informative speech.

Sloan is such a great professor, I took her class because it was another option of taking a speech class. You wont regret taking her class. You do have to do 3 presentations but there so easy! Journals and exams are part of our grade, study for the exam and get your work done and you will easily pass.

Stacy is so great. She eases you into giving your speeches and tries to help you feel comfortable in front of your classmates rather than just throwing you out there. She has clear expectations for all assignments, speeches, and exams. As long as you read, study, and apply yourself you will succeed in this class and feel good about public speaking.

Honestly, one of the best teachers I've had! Shes hilarious, and her lectures are easy to follow. Definitely read the book, that's how I passed both tests. I agree her study guides are vague but if you keep up with the reading you will do fine. She was helpful and understanding when I had an issue in the class. I would recommend her class!

Professor Sloan Graham Stacey is probably on of the most outgoing teachers in VC. Her directions are clear and understandable for any lecture or assignment she gives out, however her study guides are unorganized. She is an easy grader, and assigns 5 speeches. Come to class!!!!

I liked her class . If you put in the work you will get the grade you want. I had the worst of luck finding her for her office hours but she's a lot easier to get a hold of via email ... she replies :) and gives feed back before presentations.

I put this class off to my last semester because I hate speaking in class. As long as you read your textbook, do not procrastinate, show up to class and make sure you are ready to do your speech when it is your turn, you will do fine. Your success in Professor Sloan-Grahams class depends on if you do what is asked of you or not.

For being a communications teacher, she is horrible at communicating. She lectures on the book but only half of it. You have to read the WHOLE text book or you will fail. Tests are awful. She test on everything but what is on the study guide and what was in her lecture. Asked for clarification and help and got a "read the book". No, it was not.

3 exams plus presentations. Presentations easy. Exams are difficult! Horrible study guides. She throws some terms on a paper and hands it to you, but when you take the actual test there are at least 50% of questions you could not study for because of the lack of guidance. Anything in the reading can be on test. If you ask for help she gets mad. :(

If you're looking for a humorous professor who will answer your questions, here it is. She gives 3 exams and 4 speeches, the first speech is really a freebie, just do it and you get the points. All she expects is that you be a college student: show up to class, turn in assignments the day it's due, and follow the speech guidelines she provides.

worst teacher I have ever taken do not take her she does participation points for the whole semester its a speech class there is no place for you to participate. You can only be absent once or twice after that shell take points off. She does not except late work she is a hard grader she makes you take about three exams that she does not go over.

EASY CLASS!!! Although her study guides are SO vague and gives them out 3 days before test. Hardly goes over chapters. Read on your own. Always spend time on your speeches, THAT MATTERS MOST. DOESN'T EXCEPT ANY LATE WORK! don't ask her any dumb questions because she will talk about you to other students. But overall GREAT CLASS.

Great teacher, knows how to have fun and make everyone feel very comfortable. If you do not like to attend class, this is not the class for you. Attendance definitely matters! Overall a good teacher, I enjoyed her class and would for sure take another one of her classes.
