She wants what is best for her students. I easily passed with an A, but I put the work into it. She is funny and sweet and willing to help you out if you want to learn. She is also incredibly patient. There is a lot of homework, but you kind of have to expect that when you're trying to learn a foreign language. You will not regret taking her class

I love this little woman. She's extremely helpful and really wants you to succeed. I wish she could be my professor for everything. I had never taken a Spanish class in HS, but she treated it like a true beginners course and was very patient with me. She will call on you in class though, so be ready! Already registered for another class of hers!

I took her in summer 1 and she's a good professor who cares for her students but PARTICIPATION COUNTS! She will call on everyone at some point of the class and definitely put you on the spot if you don't know the answer. She will help you with whatever you don't understand. Very sweet but if you hate to speak up in class, don't take her!!

AMAZING professor!!! LOVE LOVE HER :) She is the sweetest and goes out of her her way to help you do well in the class. Always encourages you to do your best, will stay after class to help you and gives you 'quizzes' which count as extra credit/extra points added to your final grade :) The lab-Centro is very IMPORTANT and DON'T SLACK OFF with it !!

Prof. Barona is one of the kindest profs I've had the honor of knowing. She's absolutely dedicated to her students, and she does everything she can to help us learn. There's a lot of work, but her thoroughness helps to build your fluency quickly, and she's always willing to help when needed. I'm so glad I took her course; I highly recommend her!

Best Spanish teacher!! As long as u complete everything she asks you WILL make an A! Simple as that; you will get use to her accent, but other than that she's great. I'm a total slacker and I just did the work and made a A.

La professora is SUCH a good teacher! She's so sweet, and will always be helpful and try to make her students have an easier class. Sometimes she's hard to understand, and doesn't clarify but overall I'd highly recommend her! She's a great teacher!! SO SWEET! And really loves all of her students and learns this names. She was great teacher.First days, i couldn't understand her accent because she has a thick Colombian accent but you will catch up soon. Her online homework has many homework but it will help your test so just do it on time as can and take test would be easy.Come on time, otherwise she takes quizzes beginning class of class.Other than she will accept late homework or make quiz if you ask.She was so understandably teacher I ever had. I thought I made C but I was good enough to B and was close to A

She is very sweet teacher. As long as you complete your lab and try your test you will make an A! I made it B because I learned Spanish first time and I'm Asian and it was little too much to memorized but I still made B. I highly recommended!
