Comment:

Man, when I say that I have never took a professor that is so horrible, I mean it. Her course is overly difficult for no reason. Accounting is the easiest thing to do, and she makes the homework and exams the worst, as if you're getting ready for the hardest test there is. Her attitude and teaching is the worst and I wouldn't even refer my enemy.

I attended class everyday and got nothing out of the course. I will never recommend this professor to anyone. She does not care about students success. Teaching is not for her.

This professor was by far one of the worst professors I have had in my college experience. She does not teach well and she acts very condescending towards students. Exams are hard and unless you memorize everything she is saying and the textbook, you won't do well. There are pop up quizzes. I would not recommend this professor, AT ALL.

Attend class so you can turn in homework; she won't accept late work even with a valid reason/documentation. She has quizzes and assignments throughout that can help to prepare you for the exams. Every exam has an opportunity for bonus points at the end. She's old school and a bit strict but she's really nice.

Professor is a joke. I teach myself in this class. She covers 10% in class and it's your duty to cover the other 90. Never talks about any material thats on the exam. Would skip every class if she didn't have pop quizzes. Collin college should be embarrassed they even hired her to teach... because she can't... shes just there.

The class attendance is for a grade and if ur late she counts you absent. Homeworks are ridiculous long takes average of hour or two and expect those 2x week. I have to mention she doesnt cover any of those materials well and your pretty much on your own. If you ask question she makes you feel stupid because ur novice n shes not. Exams are HARD

Tough class. Professor is kinda old school on her teaching methods. You will need to study, study, study to get a good grade and the tests are quite hard. Can sink your GPA too if you're not careful. Definitely not a blow off class!

I'm an Accounting major and I completely struggled in this class. I made an A in financial acct, and a D in her class if that gives you any idea how much I struggled. She teaches from the back of the class room and her reviews do not match the test. Would never recommend taking her. She expects you to already know everything.

Class is an utter snooze fest. Usually nothing but lecture for two hours. Actually made me look forward to classes where we did problems or a worksheet. You would've been able to never come to class and teach yourself if it weren't for her pop quizzes. Not a bad professor just boring. However don't take unless you're actually good at Accounting.

You have no idea how much studying I had to do for this ONE class. It compromised my grades in all my other classes. Honestly if there is any availability for any other profs then take them, don't take her! She says that attendance is not mandatory but it is for quizzes and homework and stuff. She completely contradicts herself all the time.

Yo so I'm majoring in Accounting at UTD and I legit do not get why I got a C. I'm a straight A student but she was just so outdated and didn't answer any questions! Made me feel bad about questioning her answers once in August and have been afraid to ask a question since man. Her tests are absurdly hard and she doesn't prepare you for them at all.

DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS I REPEAT DO NOT TAKE HER COURSE. I'm majoring in accounting and go to UNT. She is literally the worst accounting professor I have ever taken! She's so outdated and doesn't work with her students. Her examples are from twenty years ago and she doesn't answer questions clearly enough for you to get them right on the test!

Professor Miller is great, I was hesitant taking this class looking at her other reviews but they're wrong! She's a very nice lady that knows what she's doing and the class isn't that bad! 5 tests, 11 quizzes (drops lowest one and the quizzes are easy if you follow her in class) and completion homework. Participation is recommended because graded!

For those of you who are just getting out of financial and need to take managerial, Professor Miller may be your only option. She is an outstanding professor if you're willing to put the work in. The class is not easy, but she does a great job helping you really understand it. Do the HW, show up to class, read the chapters and you'll be golden.

Took her class online to transfer the credit to my university, with that being said I worked harder in in this class than any of my other ones!! The course work is not easy at all and a few bad grades can kill your grade. You also have to take the midterm at a testing center. I would recommend this class to people majoring in accounting only.

Do not take her class unless you are an aspiring CPA student. She tends to make the subject more difficult than it really is. I have yet to pass one of her tests. They're ridiculously hard! She can also come across as being condecsending towards students when they have a question. She does't realize how hard she makes it. I don't recommend

I took ACCT 2301 at UTD the previous semester and came here to save money and will say that you get what you pay for! Not only are the class sections twice as long, but you get more busy work, less tutoring opportunities, but Professor Miller barely explains concepts, which is bad for someone who needs to be taught by a person and not a textbook.

Tough subject but she is not a bad prof. She is a little old school. You HAVE to read ahead/be prepared for class. Ex: We had end of chap test on T, on R we had a quiz over the next chptr. I almost lost my mind over that. Ended up with an A, but I earned it. Hmwrk is easy, tests are comprehensive. No gimmies, but you will learn.
