Had him for both bio 1020 lec and bio 1021 lab. Everything's pretty much laid out in the syllabus. He's a good lecturer and doesn't keep you in lab for more than hour & a half. Don't expect extra cred or much to be dropped. Made a C in both classes, and I worked hard all semester for that. BUT, there's harder teachers. Doesn't take roll either

Passed class by the skin of my teeth. I liked him for lab because we only stayed in there for an hour at the most. The study guide(s) he puts on moodle a few days before tests don't really help either. He's a cool man, but don't expect bonus, score dropping, etc. Attendance is NOT mandatory, though you may miss a minute quiz. He's very funny, too.

Had him for lab. Extremely easy quizzes and a couple of homework assignments. Doesn't really add much to the lab; you could probably learn as much with a decent book and your own slides and specimens. Reminds me of Barry Gibb.

It is not mandatory that you go to class, he puts his roll for the week in the hall and tells you to sign it when ever you like. Though he doesn't care if you go to class it is a lot more helpful to attend class bc his test are difficult. The study guides help a litte, but I did better on test when I used the book. I didn't enjoy his class BORING!!

Took him for Bio 2 lab. BORING. He had a bit of a bad attitude towards students. You could tell he didn't want to be there. Wasn't too helpful. Midterm and Final was harder than expected, yet I could have done wonderful if I would have studied about 7 hours more than I did.

Of all the sciences I've ever taken, his is the first one where I really learned. You don't have to go to his class because he really doesn't care about role, but his tests tell you that you need to go and then you actually kind of want to go.

Excellent teacher, covered the material and made it easy and interesting. Tests were easy, gives notes from class on line so you can miss, doesn't care about attendence, however didn't miss unless I had to. TAKE THIS CLASS!
