Comment:

Johnson is by far the most inspirational, and hardworking professor on campus. Yes, his class is not the easiest, BUT as long as you complete all required work, you're sure to pass the class. When he says the answers to mid-term and final are in the book, he isn't joking. The questions are asked EXACTLY the way they are in the book, so READ IT!

Mr. Johnson is an amazing professor, he provides all the information you need to pass the class and become a better speaker. He motivates you in a way to make you reflect about your daily life. His class is easy, and entertained. Definetely a class recommended to make a better person of yourself.

Unannounced mid-term. He did his book's promotion in class. Extra credit: you have to buy his novel and write the review for his book (Convertible Chocolate) to post on Amazon. Unclear grading system. I have never seen such a horrible professor like that in my life! except for the above things, he's a good professor.

Awesome professor! He lets you know what is expected of you and does everything he can to help you succeed. He really cares about his students and let's you know he's there to help. It does require time and effort but it's only to make you the best student you can be. Def take his class.

This class comes at you like an Honor's course. For all intents and purposes, it should be considered just that before you take it. Johnson is a great professor: caring, loving, teaching, mindful and humorous but one thing he is not, is easy. Do not be fooled by the reviews left below or above, you need to work hard in this class.

The most inspirational professor I have ever had. Really funny and passionate. Beware the midterm it will creep on you, he won't reveal the date of it so be ready. Never ever be late to his class especially during speech days. Loves participation and really cares about his students. Really wish I had stayed in touch because he's really awesome

So I took Mr. Johnson this past spring, it wasn't an easy class but it wasn't impossible. He is chill but can get on your nerves easily, quick lectures... sort of hard to keep up. If you like a challenge then go for it, if not... switch classes. Just do every speech on time & turn in assignments and you WILL pass.. also do the extra credit.

Proff J is the best! He really cares for the success of his students. This class significantly helped me in my communication skills. The speech outlines are not too difficult, but just don't wait to do them at the last minute because they require a lot of attention to detail. I had fun in this class and would definitely recommend you take him! (:

Mr. Johnson is one of the professors whom really cares for each student. He prepares his students for higher education by not making the class assignments, tests and homework. It was a great class and Mr. Johnson is the best professor I ever had.

Hands down BEST Speech prof. at ELAC. You have to take him you wont regret it believe me. He might come off strong in the beginning but as the weeks pass he is truly like a friend to his students. From the start I knew that I would really enjoy his class. Johnson is so enthusiastic and passionate about communication skills. You will step out of your comfort zone and expand your communication skills with his help! Highly recommend taking him! Make strong outlines and use the book as your guide. Mr.Johnson definitely scared me from the beginning but I got to know him so well throughout the semester. Do the outlines correctly, make sure your speech topics come from a sincere place,study and participate, that is how you get an A! His class has changed my life.
