Comment:

So i had professor frandsen for 1033 and 1105 online and it was hard, not going to lie but i worked for it. i have not taken math in over ten years, i got a tutor, met with professor online for one on one tutor, went to math lab, and overall got high B's in both class. i'll never forget how helpful and caring she was, she's a gem! i learned a lot

This class is not the hardest but definitely not an easy A, I did all assignments and received a B(89.19) wish she would have brought that to an A but whatever. Still a solid choice for an online course.

I withdrew from this class. Literally went from an A to a C with a matter of seconds. Tests are graded the highest so homework points wont help. If youre really good at math I recommend if not I dont. No extra credit provided. Good luck. :)

Professor Frandsen was a fantastic professor. She made review videos for the tests and was available for a one-on-one review when I needed it. When I got a poor grade on a quiz, she went over my mistakes with me and then let me retake it! She also uses Knewton, which is an AI software that gives you more or less work depending on how you're doing.

Professor Frandsen is phenomenal. I had the pleasure of taking her online for MAT1033 and MAC 1105. She provides detailed reviews to assure students are able to understand the problems for each Unit. She communicates effectively and promptly to all emails. I would highly recommend her for math for students who struggle in math.

Prof. Frandsen literally changed my outlook on the topic of math. She made me love math and inspired me to strive and achieve my dreams. She is amazing and the best at BC. I took her for Trig and Pre-cal in the 8 week courses and got an A in both. Yes this is a tedius topic but its easy when you take her. Highly recome

I'm more of an algebra person but she made the harder things easier for us. I took her half online half in class and she was pretty good. The tests are pretty simple considering the fact she legit takes time the class before to review. I recommend her to anyone taking a math class and is just coming into college.

I am bad at math, like I couldn't pass a math class to save my life bad. She has made this class easy and very clear. I took the accelerated online class and you really have to be on top of what you're doing. Reviews everything before every test and encourages you to practice. I would take her again as i actually understand what im doing.

I took her online class and she didn't explain things properly and when asked questions she replied short. I had missed an exam because my child was sick i asked to make it up she told me no and i was 1 point from getting a C and she gave me a D and failed me in the class. I had asked for make up work to help my grade but no reply from her

Honestly, her class is easy, shes very nice not mean and is caring will go out of her way to help kids. The only bad thing about her is her quizzes have a couple mistakes on them so be aware of that and let her know even her practice quizzes which gives you extra credit toward your final if you get a 100. Email communication is fair with her too.

She is so caring, for a 6 week online course, she does a review before each quiz and test so take advantage. Shes just a simple, nice instructor women who will go out of her way to help kids. Take her, rate my professor doesn't lie, when it says 100 percent, its really a fact how much of a good teacher she is. If not she'd have 50%.

I took her for MAC1033 online, 6 weeks in summer. She is super organized and is crystal clear as to what is due when, how it is graded, how it counts in your final grade, etc. She sends out reminders all the time so you never forget what is due. She did a review before every test and before the final exam, online, via blackboard. TAKE HER CLASS!

As hard as I heard this class is, she made it so much easier. I thought I was bad at Math until I took her class, now I actually Love Math. She makes everything so easy to understand, gives lots of chances, and is always there to help you, through virtual classroom, and study sessions. she stays after class and always makes herself available. TAKE!

She is the best math teacher. She is so nice & caring. She makes mistakes, but shes human. Gave the class extra credit to bring our grades up an entire letter. The reviews prepare us properly for the test. You don't have to go to class because the online hw (mystatlab) has lesson videos, but it's definitely good to attend. She really helped us all

Either statistics is super easy or she's just a great teacher. Math is the worse for me and I have managed to get 100% on all of her tests. She really makes sure that the class is understanding the material, and explains it pretty well. She's also very organized and gives extra credit! Doesn't take herself to seriously, has a sense of humor. Great!

This is the best online math class I have taken. She is a very understanding teacher and cares about you as a person. She responds to emails daily and her virtual classroom lectures are awesome. To pass this class you must turn in all assignments and discussions on time and study for the tests. She does not use Aleks which is a relief. Take her!

It was calculus so you know it was hard but she made it somewhat easier. She makes a bunch of mistakes on some of her materials(like tests and study guides) so that's not cool. Otherwise a knowledgeable and nice teacher.

Comment:

Trips up over her lectures a bit, and sometimes copies things wrong, not a huge deal but I can see how for someone who is not good at math could become a serious issue. She is also a bit slow to respond to emails and her lectures are pre-worked out problems which gets old quick. But she is not tough, and she makes a huge effort to prep for tests.
