Okay, so at the beginning I DREADED going to this class every week. However, throughout the semester I started liking her more and more. She has the strangest sense of humor and background and I loved it. VERY good help on my writing and always quick to respond. She can be very vague, just make sure to talk in class and she respects honesty.

Professor Hahn is great and the reading load isn't terrible, she's also willing to push due dates back. She's a tough grader, though! Don't be fooled if her class seems easy, you'll pay for it on your papers.

Loved Hahn. Her class is extremely interesting and easy to participate in. Stay caught up on the reading and you'll be fine. Work your ass off on every paper, make sure you go to her, the W center, and a friend to proof read. It will pay off and she will see that. Excellent teacher, wish I could take her class again.

Comment:

Susan Hahn was a very nice teacher. She is very willing to help you with letting your writing improve, and is always there to talk to. In class she does go off in tangents sometimes,but for the most part class is constructive. I would suggest to take one of her classes if you want to improve your writing.

Overall good professor - gets distracted easily from the subject sometimes and is sometimes hard to get in contact with. Very understanding about needing extensions and very helpful when it comes to proofing papers/assignments.

she really knows the material and is an excellent writer. she catches EVERYTHING. you think you have an 'A' paper and she shoots it to the ground..not to say that she is picky or a difficult grader, but you can't slip anything passed her. i find that the class structure is boring as all get out and the topics she picks are way too dry.

Good person, however her teaching is somewhat marred by her apathy. If you're looking for a good grade be prepared to kiss ass and sell-out. She's a good writer, though, not good enough to care as little as she does.
