Sarcastically sweet and funny. She sits in front of class and lectures and then you watch a lot of fun videos. Sometimes you'll go to the dance room and even if you don't dance she makes it fun for everyone. For the midterm she literally gave all the answers on the study guide, a group project, and a final paper. super easy class, just show up

Very fun and enjoyable professor. She moves a little fast when teaching combos, but is more than happy to go back and review it for you. Also likes to crack jokes with the students.

Susan is literally the best. She's funny, inspiring, and a great teacher. She makes everyone feel really comfortable, even if you're nervous about improv, and by the end of the semester your class is like a family. You will grow a lot and have a ton of fun. Take this class!

I had Susan for Jazz 2 and was very disappointed. It's the same five moves recycled, all very limited stylistically, and almost always uses hip hop music. Good if you want a brain teaser or a modernish class though...

Class can get boring sometimes, but you watch a lot of videos. You also dance in the studio like 3 times which was dun. Shes a nice teacher, does study guides for her 4 tests, but the study guides dont cover everything so its important to go to class. Attendance is mandatory. Have to attend one dance performance and write a paper to pass the class.
