Hipple passed away nearly 3 years ago, yet I still contemplate the many life lessons he shared. I'm now selling "aluminum siding" as he would say, but he remains one of the most influential and relevant professors I've ever had.

Dr. Hipple was one of the best professors I had at UT. He was honest about what teaching and high school classroom would be like once we graduated and made it out into the real world. I miss him dearly and wish him the best of luck in all life now has to offer him.

Dr. Hipple is truly an inspiration. He works hard to connect with all students and to encourage us to relate well with the students we come into contact with. He makes you want to be a better student and teacher, and he gives you the freedom to express your individuality! He's an icon. Wonderful!

Hipple lives up to his repuation. He is a fantastic teacher (models what good teachers should do) and encourages us to think an apply what we learn to our own teaching. Superb! or in his words, a truly "fine" teacher!
