Comment:

I had him for calc 1 & 2 at night. Honestly he's great, he actually teaches and is accessible after class and at the tutoring center where he frequently hangs out with students. I failed calc but he made things understandable. Tests are straightforward and from hw. Take him for any math class. I got an A in calc1 and a B in calc2.

Comment:

Probably the BEST math teacher I've everr had! He makes statistics so easy and I was dreading that class. He breaks it down to an elementary level if you need him to. He is always upstairs to help you with ANYTHING. Most of your tests are take-home and he encourages everyone to work on them together so you get to really know the material. THE BEST!

Ive never taken a stats class before, but Gordon is a great professor. He is very clear with material so it was easy for me to understand! Very helpful if needed! Take him.

Professor Gordon is my favorite professor I have ever had. His classes made me realize I wanted to become a math major. He wants you to learn and really understand the material and is always willing to help you out. I have never had a professor teach as well as him and that's because he not only knows what he's doing but also loves what he does!

I would definitely recommend taking Prof Gordon. Very funny and made the time fly. He kept it interesting. I'm not strong in math but he explained it clearly and I really understood the concepts.

I loved Professor Gordon. Made statistics easy to understand. Classes are entertaining, he always explains everything in a way that is clear and not difficult to understand, even if you're not great at math. Definitely one of my favorite professors, just seems like a really great person in general. Would definitely recommend for statistics.

I H A T E math but Gordon made it seem like I have been learning statistics for years. Would take another math class with him in a heartbeat. If you are not gifted with amazing math capabilities, take his class! If you plan on taking his class though, register as soon as possible because his classes fill up quickly (mine filled up in 2 days).

I would highly recommend Prof Gordon to anyone. He is very thorough during his lectures and keeps it entertaining. His class is easy and homework was optional, but that doesn't mean you don't learn anything. This professor really knows how to keep you engaged without overloading you with work. Take him!!

I wish he taught every subject. Hands down the absolute best prof i have ever had. So blessed to have been able to take my worst subject with a prof who genuinely cares about everyone passing. TAKE HIM ASAP!!!!

Comment:

Professor Gordon is the best math instructor I ever had and I have no regrets for taking Calculus II in the evening with him. He explains this difficult material in a way that anyone can understand and he cares about his students' success. Grade is based on both take home and in class exams but he makes sure you know what to study for.

Gordon cares about people. With that said, grades have some kind of curve even if extra credit is not offered. I took Statistics with him, it is important and helpful to be in class but not mandatory. He will repeatedly teach you how to execute and interpret his graded test questions. Apply the knowledge he gives you and you will have an A.

Hands down the best professor I've ever had. I hate math and have never been good at it but he makes everything so easy and you can really tell he cares about his students and just wants them to be okay with math. He's also really easy to approach if you need help with something. TAKE HIM YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!!

He is the best of them all. Please take any class he teaches. His lectures are amazing, he explains patiently every little details you need to know. Friendly disposition, test are basically from the homework given. and yes! He gives lots of extra credit. If you are ready to understand calculus, just take his class. You will surely excel. He is the BEST professor I ever had in my whole 3 years here at OCC. He is hilarious, nice, and really genuinely cares about you understanding the material. Allows you to ask questions and makes everyone feel comfortable. He explains the material so well. I took this class online and found it very difficult I had to drop it, he deff knows his stuff
