For Org II try to do good on Test 1 and 2. T3 will be very very difficult. The ACS should be fine. Just do the examples and practice test over and redo those you not did right-took me totally two days-I scored 96 in the end. Final is kind of easy but the reactions part could be tricky.

he was the worst teacher I have ever had! he is useless, all he does is use his pointer and point. basically he teaches as if we should already know the material. he is also not very approachable, and rude. you have to teach yourself because he doesn't

Comment:

Albright is a good professor to take if you are comfortable teaching yourself organic chemistry. The only secret to doing well in his class is doing all the problems in the book. Lectures were generally not helpful but there were some exceptions. Depsite his gruff appearance, he is a nice guy.

Awesome teacher...really not a bad guy if u listen in class and take side notes on his slides...if ur the type that understands orgo and dont need guidance on what to write then albright is ur guy...if ur struggling then u should be with bean...overall ive always liked organic...just do the problems at the end of each chapter and u should be fine

This guy was just plain mean. I wonder who says beans test are easier than albright! Its and absolute lie. i took him for CHEE 2331 in the spring and he was horrible. his tests are unpredictably long nad he claims they are from the txtbook. dont take him, if u have ur way take bean or at least someone better.

I wouldn't take him again!The lectures are worthless except for the pop quizzes, which may help your grade a little.The final was impossible.You would think it would be similar to the tests, but it is much more difficult than anyone could have ever imagined.Don't be fooled- VERY little of the exam material comes from lecture.Read and do book probs!

Albright gives pop quizzes (10% of grade) so don't miss class. Lectures are not clearly presented (& basically useless) so you really need to read your book beforehand. Although he doesn't work problems in class, that's what you're tested on, so find outside help if possible. Class averaged between 50-60 on exams; final was especially difficult.

Relatively easy tests compared to other teachers, although his teaching style does not help, reading the book is better. The test avg is usually in the 70's If you need a teacher who explains everything in detail, do not take this class. Makes jokes at the beginning of class. Most likely you'll need some prozac before the end of the semester.

The exams were pretty easy, straight examples from the book. U honestly have to read the book and do every single problem in the book to get the practice you need to understand orgo. Going to class does not help at all. Overall orgo is possible.

We'll I just finished this course. He answers your questions if you see him during his office hours, if its in the chapter you're supposed to be in at the time, else yeah he'll be sarcastic, and a little sarcasm makes you not seem like a robot. As far as easier tests, I'd say his and Bean's are on par with each other.

He is arrogant, unhelpful, and he likes to make you feel stupid when you ask him questions. His powerpoint lectures are useless and I wouldn't even come to class if not for the quizzes. His tests might be easier, but he never explains anything so in my opinion, they are actually harder.

Powerpoint lectures, so it can be very boring. Bean is a better teacher, but Albright's test are easier. Makes you feel really stupid when asking a question, so refer questions to Bean.
