As long as you are committed to doing the work you will pass this class with AT LEAST a B. He's been there for years and takes acting seriously (as most professionals do). He is easy to get along with, and is nice to even the most difficult of students. IF YOU DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS SERIOUS YOU WILL FAIL. It's easy, but only if you come to class.

Nice,fun class-goes by the bk-chapter after chapter so got to do your reading before class & after too.Tests are straight from book-multi choice mostly-go to class cause he makes it clear what's on tests-attend a play but made some available cheap at Alley Theater. Colorful, pleasant textbk. Read The Glass Managerie play. Tour of backstage UHD.

I took him for Acting 1. The class is simple and very easy. He was cool to me, I had no problem. It's not like it's a rocket science course. Go in there, listen and act and everything will be okay, just that simple. I love Dr. Lyttle, and when I see him I smile and say hello. It was a simeple A

Great person and great teacher but NOT an easy class. Would recommend if you want a challenge. CAUTION: This man takes what he teaches very seriously and expects you to do the same. Do this and you're set. He'll also work with you if there are any conflicts.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for Drama 1301. He's great so funny and truly loves his job. This class is not hard at all but you ACTUALLY learn something. Tests are very easy as long as you listen and keep notes. He usually repeats and what'll be on the test. A true theatre experience. He's a great teacher!!!

He is a good teacher.He is very enthusiastic. You would need to go to 2 outside plays and one at UHD and answer some questions about the plays on the sheets he gives you. His tests are fill in the blank but he goes over it a lot of times so you can remember. If you try he gives ya points like in spelling and stuff. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Admittedly as others have commented under this posting the course required a bit more work than expected from a humanities course, however it was nothing out of the ordinary. Though I had no interest in theatre Dr. Lyttles enthusiasm rubbed off on me, and I enjoyed the course and the plays. I also agree that he is a bit quirky but in a fun way, it

Yeah, I agree with the comment below...If your reading this and you register for him you are CRAZY! He is by far my most despised professor I have had. I'm a deans list student, not just some slacker who can't keep up. His policies are ridiculous and he's not a nice person either. Even when I see him in the hall I get angry for having wasted my $.

Dr. L's class requires 5-6 play attendences outside of class, but only 3 in class acting assignments. I have an "A" in each of my performances. But it was difficult to make the outside class assignments so I probably will not get an A in the class. Do not take his class if you are a working student.

This class is not a hard class. I do believe that it is an easy A. However, regardless of what others say, Dr. Lyttle has ridiculous classroom policies. He counts tardies as absences. He dropped a student from his class for being 5 minutes late 3 times (15 minutes total). Talk about an abuse of power. I got an A, but he sucks.

Dr Lyttle was great, admittedly it was not what I expected to get an easy A. Butit is not hard and if you just study his notes about 30 minutes or so each night you will obtain an A. HE is a bit quirky, but I thought it made it a little more fun. I definetly recommend Dr. Lyttle.
