Took him for Sex, Roles and Gender and Social Problems. AWESOME TEACHER! Can be rude at times but his classes are awesome! You will learn alot if you attend class. If you pay attention you will get an A! I would deff. advise you to take his class!

If you really have an interest in Sociology, this is the guy to teach you. He does pick favorites, but if you work hard and participate, you'll be one of them. I would not have made it through college without the help and guidance of this teacher.

By far the best professor I have ever had. Yes his work his hard, but lets face it people-thats what life is all about. If you want to make something of yourself DO THE WORK. His classes are well worth it and I am walking proof of that.. this guy is a modern day sociology genius! WAKE UP!

People complain that the work is hard . . . hard work in college? Gee, what a concept. The work IS hard, but it's worth it to do it, as you'll find his lessons can be applied to daily life. He's very willing to help students who need it, as long as they're willing to put in the work. He's more than fair, and brilliant in his field.

This guy is not good dont take his class , he picks favorites. Classes go on and on. When i was in his class I put the words Blah, blah that how un interesting it was, this guy does not know how to answer a question under one minute, tends to go on and on. Give long winded confusing explanations and examples in class. gives higher grades to buddies

He is hard, but he makes you work harder to get that passing grade. Particapation is the key to passing his class. Most do all the homework and quizes. Yes he has favorites but I can't complain because I was one of them.

this class was one of my biggest mistakes..do the extra credit the quizzes are easy and participate in class, youll need to read the homework. he was rude sometimes with his comments, definately has favorites...hes hard to please, most of the time he comes off obnoxious, i dont suggest him

Prof. Urban is prob. one of the funniest prof. at TPU..... he laughs and you laugh with him. He is also very intelligent and interesting. TAKE HIS CLASS.... but be prepared to work your butt off!!
