Horrible teacher. He doesn't follow the syllabus, we don't actually learn anything useful. His classes never seem planned and he just does whatever he feels like doing that day. Always seems too busy to talk to his students outside of the class room and when you do have a chance, he talks down to you. Shouldn't be a teacher or advisor.

I had Tim for all video Production classes. While he is a great guy outside of the class room, He is not that great of a teacher. My knowledge of production was greater than his on some things. Don't let him take credit for your work. You are better off looking up your questions in a book (which you never actually use) or online before you ask him

Tim may know a lot about cameras and editing but he cannot convey that knowledge to save his life. He is extremely confusing and there were times when I went to him for help and it seemed like he had no idea how to help me. He should also keep his strong political views away from the classroom.
