great Guitarist and banjo musician extraordinaire. just don't go to him for class advice or you will not be in a four year course anymore and van wilder will ask why have you stayed so long. but a nice guy and will help out in any other situation.

Dr. Mainland was the best, the guy really knows his stuff both in theory and musicality. he also has a great sense of humor that some people don't get, cause they are tools...but he cares about his students and genuinely wants them to learn. Take his classes when you can!

Dr. Mainland is a wonderful professor. He can relate with students and isn't afraid to speak to you in whatever way he sees fit, which includes a bit of tough love. Once you get to know him he'll do anything to help you understand. Don't worry so much about grades, worry about what you're learning and what you're taking with you from the class.

Dr. Mainland rocks my world. I admire him so much and wish to be just like him with all of his worldy knowledge. He's adorable and funny.. but he has his moods like the rest of us. He loves what he does... TAKE THIS CLASS if you at all love music.

Dr. Mainland has his Dr. in Music Composition and thats why he teaches theory. He is a VERY hard teacher, but when you finish his class I promise you will know somthing about music theory. He isnt easy, but he is always there to help you when you need it.
