Great prof. I had him in Trust and Estates with him last summer. He kept things interesting and was always willing to answer questions. I like the MC format for exams -- remember, the FL Bar exam is 3/4 MC questions! Robinson was fair, friendly, and reliable as a prof.

Although his test was pretty hard, I found him to be very funny and a good teacher. He is very good with returning e-mails and spoke with me on the phone for a little over an hour. He's a great man.

He is the Jimmy Stewart of UM law school professors. Though he is a nice person, and a fair grader, I did not learn as much as I would have liked from his lectures. That being said, I did not take him for T&E to learn T&E. He is great for PR.

some people call him a space cowboy; others call him the doctor of funk. I think he's a damn fine professor. The students that complain obviously don't invest the time, or are just bitter about law school in general. It is refreshing to have a professor care more about his students than his ego. His system is kinda weird, but it works

This semester has been the defining semester of my law school years. I prefer statute driven areas of law, the Codes (IRC, UCC) and the complexity of transactional work. Great class, highly recommend, and a MUST for practitioners in today's economy.

Professor Robinson is extremely nice, has a unique sense of humor, and really seems to care about the students, their education, and the school. He is sometimes unclear and goes on random tangents, but he gives a reasonable amount of work and is very fair when calling on students in class.

T-Robs is the sweetest man ever! His powerpoint slides are a bit redundant but he really cares about the students. Don't need to read cases. If you have a question outside of class and e-mail him to ask, he will call you 5 times to explain.

i have taken all of tom robs classes. a little (okay, VERY!) quirky but he is the best! you learn and you get an awesome final exam. plus, you get a gazillion absences.. why wouldn't you take this class?

You can't complain about a professor that gives you up to 10 absences, teaches in aviators b/c "the projector lights are bad for the eyes," and whose hardest question all semester is, "If I gave you $100,000, what would you do with it?"

Such a change of pace. He is really a friendly guy who is genuinely concerned with the student and the students overall understanding of the law, not just how to pass a class and forget the material. If you are looking to get bogged down in obscure code provisions or random stuff only useful for exam purposes then this class is not for you.

He's a really sweet person who definitely knows his stuff. You can tell he works very hard for his students, though he can be a little quirky sometimes. He's a VERY smart guy. I would definitely take his class. A lot of people might have written differently, but they obviously didn't go to more than two classes.
