This instructor talks down to her students and is very unforgiving when it comes to late assignments. Based on the interactions I had with this instructor over email and from reading her responses to other students online, it is apparent that she is a rude person. Also, if you rely on Quizlet to help you with studying, do not take HST 269.

My class may have been easy to pass, but it was not easy being there as Traci wouldn't be very respectful towards students. My fellow peers and I have all received often short and snappy comments from her. I know timeliness matters, but often times when people were one or two minutes late, they'd get shade thrown on them from her.

While Traci was available if I ever emailed her, I found this class to be really frustrating because all of the material was NOT current. It is fall 2019 as I write and we used a textbook published in 2011. Many outside sources (documentaries, especially) were from 2013-15. In a class where current events matter, this is unacceptable.

If you're going to take WS101 class HIGHLY advise taking it online. Class has all the hw assignments layed out, even exams. They don't take long to do and can be done weeks before they're due. You will use the textbook for hw, and it's all based on writing so take a writing class prior to WS.

Tracis class is not as hard as everyone is saying. There is lots of reading to do, but its because of the subject. Womens studies has to focus on how women have been pushed aside and underprivileged since the beginning of time. It covers a lot! There are weekly assignments, and she is an easy to moderate grader. Loved her lectures. I recommend!

so, i really wanted to like this class and this teacher, but by the end of the term i found my self dreading just being there each day. the class material it's self was interesting but that probably where the positives end. I had this instructer in person and i feel that the test book was more usfull then attending her classes.

I love history, always have. Traci clearly does too, and she knows history. That being said, I would NOT recommend her. Her quizzes are ridiculous. She did the classic "ask a question, give 3 correct answers, one might be slightly more correct and if you don't guess that one, you get it wrong" Ridiculous. She also seemed annoyed when I emailed.

She has a chapter or two to read from an online textbook with a timed online quiz.. She has a power point she shows, but there are only pictures, and no words. You have to take good notes in class to know the answers of "today's questions" which make up the final and midterm. She is very petty and holds grudges.

She treated the class like we were back in high school. Writing assignment every week, but as long as you followed the instructions you will get a good grade. Don't need to read the book. Doesn't help you in class or the assignments.

This class was pretty easy, you have to read a full chapter out of the textbook every week and take a timed quiz every Monday, and you also have to read a book to write a paper on. Its a lot of reading and she talks the whole class period, but her midterm and final are somewhat easy considering she lets you prepare the essay questions before hand.

Traci is very knowledgeable about what she teaches, is well organized, and has clear expectations. YOU MUST READ CAREFULLY IF YOU WANT AN A. There are textbook readings and other assigned readings, followed by a quiz and a discussion every week. If you work hard and read everything carefully, you can get an A. I skipped some readings and got a B

Traci is not a good teacher at all. She grades based on wether or not she likes you and treats her students as if they are two years old. She grades much too hard with no previous direction and is not helpful. Do not recommend.

Traci is not a good online teacher at all. She is very strict in her grading and will dock points if she doesn't like the way something is done, without telling you this is the beginning. She provides a rubric for essay grading, but doesn't follow these and includes her own personal opinions on them. I will not take a class from her again. Ever.

Does not give direct feedback, so you're pretty lost when it comes to getting a direct answer back. Not a good structured online class. Wouldn't take this professor again. Not a hard grader, so can get an easy A--But you won't learn much.

I've taken Traci three times because I absolutely love her classes! She is very passionate about what she's teaching. There's A LOT of reading involved, and the discussion assignments are also time consuming. Several units of reading per chapter, plus reading from the book. There's a lot of work, but if you put in the time, you'll definitely pass.

Oh my, this instructor is one you need to be careful about. I took her even after reading the comments made about her here. She only offers 100 pts total in the class and doesn't offer extra credit. She's very strict and wants things done in a certain way. But besides that, I found her reading lectures to be so amazing. I think that's what made

Exception is you can answer all of them (about 20) and bring them to class to turn in. Hope this forewarning helps someone.

Traci Hodgson is one of the best teachers I've ever had!! She is brilliant and keeps lectures interesting. I have never learned so much in a history course. She is really helpful in giving feedback on essay content and test answers. She cares so much about what she does, and is very clear on what she expects. 10/10 recommend.
