Comment:

Trisha Bergthold is really an amazing teacher. I had her in MATH1 and I would absolutely do it again. It's not a difficult class, if you aren't good at math you will learn and if you are good just be there and participate. There are a 3 group projects, 3 exams and 1 final. Buy booklets at the book store. She is funny, passionate and caring.

She is one of the rudest professors I have encountered. She is unhelpful and does not seem to trust her students. She tends to talk to you like you are in elementary school.She assigns WAY too much busy work including a math Journal!She will spend most the class going over the easiest example leaving you clueless about the hard stuff.Don't take her

Like the person said earlier, you basically teach yourself! She does not give good examples, you are pretty much on your own. She requires a lot of work also: 6 observations, group lesson plan and other write-ups. She does answer email quickly, but will not always tell you what you want to hear.

She is a really nice person, but math 105 is much harder than math 12 and she does not explain the concepts. Most of class time is wasted and not used for "teaching". Only take this teacher if you want to teach yourself EVERYTHING!

she was a decent teacher with nice teaching methods...like everyone else says...SHE DOES GIVE OUT WAY TOO MUCH WORK!!! donnt slack off..I got a C because I skipped class way too much!!!

She was really nice. However her class required WAY too many assignments. There were 10 classroom observations in addition to lots of other homework. I thought it was unreasonable! The content of the course was clear and her teaching style was great.

Loved her!She is very clear with assignments and guidlines, challenges you in a good way, and very helpful. Spunky personality keeps you awake throughout the class. Take her!

If you thought Math 12 to be the dead head, snored through half the semester and still earned an A, well sorry to let you know that's not the case with Trisha. Truth is the class is a lot of work and she's tough. She pushes you to work hard for your grade and I really enjoyed the challenge.

THE MOST HORRIBLE TEACHER EVER. I GENERALLY DON"T COMPLAIN BUT SHE IS VERY UNCLEAR ABOUT THINGS AND TENDS TO MAKE TEST THAT STUDENTS CAN"T FINISH BY THE END OF THE CLASS PERIOD. SHE IS UNFAIR WITH HER GRADING AND CHOOSES FAVORITES IN THE CLASS. SHE NEVER GOES OVER HOMEWORK AND DOES NOT ANSWER YOUR ?

gives hella homework, but honestly i only did the first assignment and did really well in the class. this class is about teaching little kids addition and what not, so when compared to other ge math courses this**** is hella easy. take it, its better than calculus

At the start of the semester I hated the busy work but it all pays off in the end. You will learn alot. Keep up with the homework. She does not give lectures. You are on your own when it comes learning the material. The second exam is more difficult than the first exam.

She is a little scatter brained, but she is very nice for a teacher. She gives a lot of busy work, but it does end up helping you and she does not really grade that hard. As long as you do the work, it is an easy A.

she's great. Her grading is not really that hard and yes she does give a lot of work but its not that hard...You learn and have fun at the same time :)
