Comment:

A great teacher! I wasn't good in Accounting but I learned a lot because of him. Doing the homework before the class itself is helpful because I came prepared. Now I am more confident in majoring in Accounting. Take this class if you love the challenge and if you are a fast learner. Cool & smart classmates as well so I enjoyed it.

He doesn't seem to want to teach. He speaks in mono-tone. At first class meeting he said half of us wouldn't even pass let alone make it to the end of the semester. I understand it's a hard subject but with an attitude like that from the professor I was OUT.

Comment:

One of the most horrendous teachers ever. He seemed like it was too much to actually teach and explain the material. He also likes to belittle students who don't understand the material as the "A" students do. Maybe a cool guy outside of class, but he seems a little too arrogant to be teaching a class like beginning accounting.

Prof. is great. I've read the negative reviews and assume they are from students that are easily challenged. If you read the book and do the homework you should be fine. Tests and quizzes are from the book. I can see how students requiring a lot of help may be disgruntled, but if you don't need hand holding he's an interesting and nice teacher.

This man is very smart, too smart to teach this class. He would be a great grad school teacher, for beginners, not so much. He does try once in awhle to help, but the material is so elementary to him, he gets bored. I can't appreciate people calling him an idiot, thats hateful and rude. Looking to take this class, be knowledgeable of acct first

I AGREE W/ALL THE COMMENTS I HAVE READ SO FAR. HE IS A CPA, NOT A TEACHER. HE HAS NO INTEREST WHETHER OR NOT A STUDENT DOES WELL OR UNDERSTANDS THE MATERIAL. THE CLASS IS TOO ELEMENTARY FOR HIM, & HE WANTS NOTHING TO DO W/STUDENTS WHO DON'T UNDERSTAND IT. I HATE COMING TO HIS CLASS & HAVE DECIDED TO DROP THE CLASS OVER 1/2 WAY THRU THE SEMESTER.

never take his class , this guy is totally useless. He comes to class just stand there and talk exactly on the slide show. He expects students understand everything like him and talks too much about his BS life. NEVER , NEVER TAKE HIS CLASS

You'd be better off taking this class online since he expects you to do the homework BEFORE he teaches you anything! Going to class is waste of time since all he does is go over the homework that you already struggled to finish. He expects you to do a group project and presentation at the end of the semester and he takes roll everyday.

This was a very difficult class. Taking this class made me feel that I couldnt get any help. Though the teacher wasn't mean or anything he didn't make it feel like a class that if someone had difficulty they could ask.

I dropped this class after 3 weeks. He would not explain in detail any of the topics. Going to class was a complete waste of time. If you have a choice, take an online coarse. You won't have to do a group project and won't waste your time in class when you could be studying.

If this is your 1st experience w/accounting then this class will be hard.Lots of reading w/out things being explained in further detail.You move from 1 chapter to the next w/out fully understanding what you just read.Lots of homework!Time consuming!

Comment:

Good class but you have to study. Expect a group project. You will choose/research a company and report on if it's a worthy investment. Make a decent effort and you'll get an A. Open book tests!!
