Crazy amount of homework. Never written so many papers in my life! Assignments are unclear, although I did well in this class and received numerous 100%s, I did not feel like I understood the assignments at all and when I asked for help I was denied. Comment:

At first I hated her teaching style but this class gets really easy once you truly understand the material. Participating in class really helps and I recommend you read the assigned text before lecture. 2 quizzes and 3 exams though the q's are worth a lot, it helps if u clarify/support your response for partial pts.Overall She is a great professor!

Prof. Santos is a good teacher. I'm not much of a critical reasoner but she is so dedicated to teaching us to critically reason. She loves unsolved murder cases & that's all we talk about. We've had about 2 exams, and 2 or 3 quizzes. Pretty easy, you have to read Epstein, attend class regularly & ask questions. not that difficult. i'd recommend it

I didn't have any interest in Philosophy until I took her class. Her class isn't one that you can slack off in though. She's a perfect teacher for those of us who actually hope to get something out of school. The people that complain in her class are the ones who sit in the back on their cellphones . I'm taking another one of her classes.

The last comments are a little hard on her. She's not the most exciting teacher in the world, but she gets the job done. Attendance and homework is worth ALOT compared to other colleges classes. The material is really elementary and the books childish, but I have gotten quite a few good laughs from the class. "THANK YOU FOR YOUR FUTURE!"

Hardly understands class material, strongly opinionated, very close minded, and especially incompetent. Much of class time is spent explaining things to her. She may have good marks in the past but she's grown senile. Will claim a "fact" one class then call it false next class. Avoid her. Material elementary for those of above average intelligence.

SUX!!!! She is soooooo close minded, her class gets on my nerves!!!!!! SUX at explaining hard material to students. Can be picky about turning in HW and stuff that if you turn it in a bit late because you were running to class she makes you turn your HW in w/ a PETITION!!! Even if it was a major emergency. DO NOT TAKE HER!!!! Class annoys me!!

She is the worst teacher ever. Just like everyone said, she gives you this book to purchase and gives you assigned annotations for the following class meeting. Although she walks by your row and checks it every class meeting, she somehow manages to dock you down points on it?!! Without stating why. She does not deserve to teach at all!DONT TAKE HER

She was not clear on what she wanted at all! I thought I was doing well in the class. I understood everything, but I got a C in her class. It's pretty easy to pass, but not to do very well. She just needed to be more specific on the annotations. I have no idea how I kept getting points marked off, and I thought I'd get full credit.

I thought this class was easy, but this teacher is very unclear. She kept deducting points off my assignments and was not clear with what she wanted. I attended every class and yet her assignments were very unclear. I dont recommend anyone to take her class.

I thought I was able to get an A in this class. Perfect attendance and did the tedious homeworks. Grade was based on only hwk,attendance, and final. And i guess i bombed the final.. and got C. NOT easy A. She is nice but... boring and unorganized, old fashioned. Not my style of teaching.

Nice lady. BUT her class is not structured. Not clear on what she expects and her notes are unorganized. Doesn't do good lecturing either, you sit there confused while she's thinking and rambling on with her thoughts. Annotations were annoying but the easiest part of the class. The material was DIFFICULT. It's a class where you either get it or not

I agree with the comment below. I worked hard on those annotations and I understood everything; I just don't think she was very clear on what she wanted. I wish we could have had an easy midterm like her class from last semester had, instead of so many points being based on annotations.

She seems really nice and helpful, but her class was harder than it should have been. I kept thinking I was doing the annotation assignments correctly, yet I got points off when she graded them. The class wasn't as easy as I thought it would be.
