Super easy going and nice. offers so much extra credit and as a treat if you reach a certain amount of points you dont have to show up for the rest of the semester. speeches are pretty simple and she doesnt grade too hard. would definitely recommend

Very easy A if you do the work. She offers plenty of opportunity for extra credit. I built up extra credit from the homework early on and barely had to do anything at the end of the semester and I still got an A. Just show up to class, turn in assignments on time, and you'll be fine even if you hate speech.

AMAZING TEACHER! I absolutely hate speaking in front of an audience. But she made speaking to be a very comfortable thing. only had 5 speeches. Gave extra credit on tests and if you timed speakers on speech day. I would recommend her to anybody. TAKE THIS TEACHER! you will NOT regret it.

She was the best teacher I have ever had. She is extremely nice and makes speech class fun. She knows everyone dreads class but she puts the class at ease. You can tell she loves her job and wants everyone to succeed. If you average a 90 or above on all your tests, you don't have to take the final. All homework is checked for completion. Choose her

Ms.Van Donk is wonderful! She makes her class entertaining, and never boring. She got us to feel relaxed and comfortable with everyone, so we wouldn't be so nerveous when speaking. I learned a lot in this class. If you don't take her, your doing yourself a diservice. She is excellent!

Since I am taking her for a 200 level class, I have found that the atmosphere of the class is not rowdy. She does make small changes to the syllabus occasionally. I think she is wonderful!! Make sure to show up for class. I would recommend her for higher level speech classes.

Vivian is one of the best teachers I've had, not only at JJC, but in my entire school career. She is funny, easy to get along with, interesting, and fun. She is very interested in her students, and how well they do in the class. Her tests are easy, and as long as you do the required work, you will do well.

This class was really easy. She is a nice teacher, very easy to get along with. All you have to do is make sure you do the chapter check ups and get the extra credit. if you average a 90 on all the test, which most of them are take home.. you do not have to take the final. I got a 100.3% in the class and I did not put the much effort in the class

Very easy teacher. You get 10 points extra credit if you present on the first day of speeches. Some tests were take home tests and if not you get to use a notecard on the test. She grades VERY easy on all speeches. If you hate doing speeches, i reccommend this teacher.

She was super funny and sometimes nice as long as you do your work. She's a cool teacher and the homework she gives out is pretty easy, some of it just time consuming, but other than that I would definitely recommend her. Like I said, You will be laughing your ass of most the time because she is always joking around!

He is the greatest teacher ever. You feel very comfortable giving speeches in this class because she is so outgoing and down to earth. It is a very easy class and very fun. You will never be bored in this class. She is my favorite teacher so far by a long run. Take Her. Trust Me.
