He is the absolute worst. I wanted to ask him some questions and he literally said "no, i dont have time to sit and answer your questions one by one" (i only had a few and told him it would be really quick) and he proceeds to tell me that i should email him instead. I emailed him right away, and he answered me 4 days later, a few days b4 the final.

Comment:

To be fair, his notes are very clear!! It is true that he only reads his pdfs during class, and that this isn't really exciting. However, if you pay attention during class, this helps you digest the material. Tests are fair, and exactly like the practice ones.

Very sweet guy, and actually very good explanations if you follow along. Just takes a little while to get used to at the beginning, lectures seem dull but if you listen to how much fun he has doing math it's really infectious. Can be funny too.

The one time I went to him with a question he wasnt really able to answer it and it shouldve been very basic but I ask my friend who just started probability and was able to answer it right away. Not clear reads off slides as others mentioned (I also had him for 133). I guess the subject it self isn't that terrible but still hard the way he does it

When people say to take Trudeau's section DO IT, even if Anderson is better scheduling. Sweet person but that is the only reason I went to class. Totally not worth showing up. He reads PDF files and posts them online anyways. For me, it made me totally unprepared and not confident for something that should have been a really easy final and course.

He just reads straight from a PDF of his notes, without annotating or elaborating at all. Definitely the worst math teacher I've ever had. Actually, probably straight up just one of the worst teachers in general.

Harvard has great online lectures. I'd recommend those. I never went to class but I had him for Math 133 and can tell you he is not a great lecturer. He pretty much reads his notes. Not how math oughta be taught.

MATH 323: Probability He sits in class, displays a pdf (which he uploads online in any case), and reads it word for word. As a math prof, that sucks. I don't need the professor to read me a pdf when I can do it myself. He does no problems on the board. Going to class is pointless.

Anderson is not a friendly teacher. I went to see my final and was told off after 5 minutes. He refused to let me stay a minute longer to fetch my assignments and midterm because he doesn't "have time". Refused to answer any questions I had on the final. He made me extremely uncomfortable and I was literally scared to ask anymore questions.

Imagine you were a freshman like me and took his class. well, I have to say that I kept cursing math all the semester because I never understood anything he said, His voice is very low and he doesn't even use a microphone. He's Basically chilling in class because all he does is read his boring theoretical useless notes without examples.Just don't!

Horrible teacher, just horrible. I am pretty sure he is tenured so he does stuffs like never giving your grades online, don't care about deadlines and give the most tedious lecture you will ever have. His exams are ok but you probably will never understand his grading.

Just horrible. No way of keeping you awake or interested, reads his PDF, which on its own is bad enough, but loses track of what he is saying, gets confused, and worst of all doesn't actually teach you how to solve for things that are going to appear on the final, which was very difficult. Boring, tedious class made worse.
